I searched for spa threads and didn't find current info...so here we are because I have a butt ton of TR credits to use thanks to the Great and All Powerful Race... staying at Paris and have been to their spa...it's okkkkk but not awesome. Was thinking for lesser, I can get a massage and similar experience at Bally's since they have an early bird massage special for $99.

BUT, I've heard that Qua might be cheaper on weekdays but can't confirm it anywhere (short of calling them...egads no!). I've never been there but after over-reading reviews I can't decide if it's awesome or sucks.

For some scope, I like the size of the Paris spa vs. Bellagio... Bellagio had nicer amenities incl. the patio thing... Bellagio had their TV on full blast playing a dumb basketball game with lots of dude-ing going on...I mean, I like a good sports bar but not when I'm supposed to be chillin like a villain. SO, looking for not necessarily smaller but not as warehouse-y as Bellagio and calm....calm...

That said, where do you like to go and why? :faint:

Qua is amazing...go there and you won't be disappointed. BY FAR the best option for TR casinos

The best spa I've been to was Canyon Ranch at Venetian. It was wonderful. I've also been to Bathhouse at THEhotel a few times, also nice, but the decor is strange and cold.

Cannot speak for Qua but I can say that Canyon Ranch is a real spa and workout gym attached to a hotel. Not a hotel with a small spa and added workout area. Canyons workout areas are very nice, large and well maintained. In fact, I have yet to find a better area for serious lifting at any of the other properties. The sauna and steam rooms offer fancy lighted and aromatherapy options as well as interesting rain showers with different sounds (storms, birds...) I did not have any spa services so will need to defer to others for that.

I just got a groupon for the Eforea spa at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club. I have never been to this spa before but thought I would give it a try for the price. I got a 60 minute massage and 25 minute facial for $99. Has anybody been to this spa before?

the OP asks for opinions on CET spas and people start talking about MGM and Venetian......

Qua is awesome because there are so many options...steam room, sauna, huge normal hot tub, skin-melting HOT hot tub, ice cold tub, lukewarm tub, snow room, good massages

Any more thoughts, tips, comments on strip spas? Opinions on best experience at best value?

I'm hoping to visit one during my May trip. Staying @ Bally's. A CET property spa close to Bally's would be preferable but I'm flexible. As long as it's on the strip.:blowkiss:

For me there is no contest. Qua at Caesar's Palace. It isn't cheap but it is amazing.

I haven't visited but I have heard good things about Bally's Spa. It is fairly basic but sounds like it is well-kept with good technicians.

I would NOT recommend the Spa at Paris. It was run down 7 years ago and I don't think that it has been remodeled.

The best spa handsdown, out of the CET properties is Qua at Caesars.

I'm not a spa snob and I didn't get any services done. But, I bought the 3 day spa pass at Bally's and I thought it was great. Very well kept, clean. The staff were super nice. I'd go in there after the pool and before naptime. I had water, juice, trail mix and a banana and lounged. Then made use of the steam and hot tub. Then I'd take advantage of their nice shower and toiletries (better than the stuff in the room) and use their hair dryer to fix my hair. Soothing Japanese (reiki style) music. Warm robe, towels and slippers. I thought it was great. Probably not in the same league as Caesars but I'll go back and get some kind of service done next time.

    Prices???

Anyone know how much a day pass to Qua might be? I've looked at their website and it looks really wonderful, but there is no mention of price of admission, only for some of the treatments.

QUA SPA!!! I think it's $45 for a day pass. Sometimes you can find good specials for $99 massages on weekdays (which include use of all spa & gym facilities). I try to make it in everytime I visit. Those heated stone chaises are so relaxing...

The bad part about Canyon Ranch Spa and some of the others here - they do not take Reward Credits. Only CET hotel spas take them.

Qua is very nice, classy place. Steam, sauna, cold room, various hot/cold tubs. The only downside is if you are staying someplace else. For some people, this is no big issue. For me, I like to go back to my room and change, etc after my massage, etc. Going outside and trekking to my hotel defeats the purpose. Just me.

Staying at Ballys 4 weeks from today. Based on my last visit 10 years ago, it was very nice. I believe the admission price was $22. Don't think its worth the pay double to go to Qua at Ceasars and have to walk across the street. Maybe if it was only $30. Paris seemed a little newer, but a bit smaller. Harrahs was not worth the admission price.
