  1. Hello there. After reading a couple live trip reports and enjoying them so much, I wanted to try and contribute one back to the board. This is my first time so I'm not sure how it'll turn out. I'm heading out there tomorrow afternoon, driving from LA. I've been in Vegas 1-3 times/month for the last 24 months (42 trips). I have a dumb bet going with a friend to see who would crack first and skip a month. Even so, we haven't been back since NYE so four weeks is a pretty long break for us. We do short 1-3 day trips and luckily, haven't been burnt out.

For this trip, we have two rooms at Palazzo, a couple staying at PH and another couple staying at LVH. We're all mid-20s and enjoy clubbing (main reason to visit) but I'm also a degenerate gambler haha. I don't have a set budget because I never follow it anyways. My bankroll is 5k for this trip but I'm still pretty shell-shocked from a 16k loss last month so I might try to take it slow.

Anyway, tentative plans so far is TAO for Friday night right when we get in and a busy Saturday: LAVO Brunch, dinner at CUT and Marquee for W&W. Also, Palazzo is comping me two tickets to the Lady Gaga concert on Saturday; not looking forward to it but taking a female friend so might be worth it. It starts at 8 so will try to fit it in between CUT and Marquee.

This is pretty long already. I'll try to update and take some pictures too!

    Looking forward to it.

    @BKCallaway83 thanks for the luck!

We got in late due to slight traffic/rain and just lag. No line at check in so that was a plus. Pregaming and then heading out to TAO.

Quick stop at Costco earlier to pick up drinks for the room -

Haha jk. We left 4 of the goose bottles at home. They were only $36+tax for the 1.75L so we stocked up.

Our Palazzo room. We have two of these connecting with 5 people sharing so it's not bad -

Just realized it was tougher than I thought to do a live tr since I'm rarely sober haha.

Hit up TAO last night. Club fell off from where it was a couple years ago but it was still fun.

    Found Spiderman!

Ate steak & eggs at Bill's afterwards -

Not sure what time we went to bed but woke up this morning and started taking shots of goose. We missed out on LAVO Brunch and missed our reservation at CUT but I got some gambling in. We grabbed a quick bite at Grand Lux and we're back up in the room to continue our drinking.

    Nice hit at Venetian -

Heading out for the Lady Gaga concert soon (we're really late).

No need to be overly concerned with the accuracy of your spelling, the readers are well versed in drunkenese.

    Nice hit on the Royal!

Tao used to be the shit a few years back, but they still get a good crowd.

Enjoying the pictures, keep it up!

The concert was surprisingly good. She's really talented and interacts well with the crowd. Her fans love her so much that it just made the atmosphere a fun experience overall.

We left around 11:30 to try and beat the crowd and cab line. Headed over to Vdara (friend's room) to drink some more and then over to Cosmo for Marquee.

W&W was good! (from what I remember haha) -

Picked up some food from Earl's and then headed up to friend's room at PH to chill and eat. I didn't think to take a picture but they had some sort of resort room where there was a huge pillar in the middle of hall right when you walked into the room. It was weird.

Cabbed it back to Palazzo and gambled a little. I remember switching back and forth from ddb and bonus deluxe and hit this on the right game -

No plans today but will start drinking in a bit. I was yaking last night so I'm just drinking water right now haha. Oh yeah, sometime yesterday I put money on Ravens + under and a separate bet on Ravens money line +150. No NBA bets but we're planning on watching the Lakers/Thunder game. Just watching the Celtics/Heat game right now.

Those Lady Gaga tix at $200...what does it mean "outside property"? Is that your Palazzo host getting them for you? Is that a $200 seat? From the pic, if I paid $200, I would have expected to be closer to Ms. Gaga. Or is that a casino trick to show you how much they value your play ($200) but really, they bought the ticket for $50?

    Sunday afternoon –

By this time we had killed both goose bottles but barely made a dent in the patron so we started taking shots of that while watching the Lakers/Thunder game (only finished about half of the bottle). After the game, we went over to the Diamond Lounge at Caesars to drink goose. I’m not sure when they upgraded their vodka but we were happy to find out they started carrying goose last month. We have two diamond card holders but we were allowed five people to enter so that was nice.

    Goose on the rocks –

We were starving because most of us hadn’t eaten anything all day so we went over to the Bacchanal buffet. I mostly ate the oysters, king crab legs and shrimp which were pretty good. The prime rib was not bad also. I haven’t eaten at a buffet in over a year and I remembered why. I was full after a plate and a half. Glad we could skip the line because the cashier told someone it was about a 1.5 hour wait at that time and I’ve seen that line at least double in length before.

    Bacchanal -

We all got food coma and just wanted to sleep so we went back to Palazzo to nap. While waiting for everyone to finish up at the restrooms, I put a twenty in and hit this -

Napped until 1AM, packed and left. We had to get back because most of us have work today. Guess this report wasn’t as “live” as I intended it to be but it was still fun to write this up. We’re coming back next week and I’m excited for the superbowl. We attended the party at LVH last year but no invites this year so we still haven’t decided where to watch it yet. Ok I think that’s all for now, thanks for reading!

I didn't even notice the "outside property" but it's probably because the event was a MGM one and they sold the tickets to Sands. I don't have a host at Palazzo. It was just a mailer offer they sent me so I'm not sure about pricing. I did look at ticketmaster and the tickets available were about $200. I'm sure they paid a lot less though because I don't think the concert sold out.

I saw you replied to UKFanatics thread that you were at Marquee this weekend. Wanted to PM you when I saw you had your written a TR! Was wondering how W&W were? They're currently one (two to be precise) of my favorite DJ's at the moment. Hope Marquee has some good trance dj's during Easter weekend

Really enjoy their music/sets. Except for their delirium - silence remix. They shouldn't have messed with that classic!

Good thing I didn't miss your tr. Thanks for sharing!

They just killed it. They brought so much energy and with the crowd bringing good vibes, it was very fun. A bunch of us got pictures with Wardt and he was very upbeat and nice to stop by and smile/pose. When we left the dance floor to get more drinks, even the security was nice enough to let us back onto the dance floor. First time seeing them live for most of us (we've attended coachella, ultra, edc & other insomniac events) but it won't be the last! Thanks for reading!

This just kills me. You drank hard alcohol all day, went to bed at some point, got up in the middle of the night to drive back to LA, then went to work.

That makes my 41 year old body just hurt. If I drank as much as you guys I'd be recovering for two days minimum :)

    Thanks for the TR!
