Does Luxor not comp Stoli vodka or do they just not have it?

I'll write up the trip report this week but one of the things I found odd on this trip was that I could not get a comp Stoli vodka and cranberry even in the high limit room.

I'm going to guess, just like coke or pepsi, Luxor has mad a decision to offer Absolut as their upgrade vodka and not offer Stoli in the casino at all.

The Absolut drinks I ended up with were certainly strong, and I am fine with that vodka.

I was comped Stoli at Cosmo for playing their horrible video poker. Got my ass kicked but it was just for $1 video poker play at the bar.

If you couldn't get Stoli in the high limit room, they must not have had it. Stoli isn't even particularly high end these days -- there's no way it's not comped in a HL room.

This would be my assumption as well. Or – perhaps even more likely – the waitress isn’t sure whether they have it or not and figures it would be easier to steer you toward one that she knows they have than checking to see if they have Stoli.

I’m not super familiar with either brand. But, aren’t they fairly close in price? I wouldn’t think they would turn you down for one, but freely offer the other.

They do have contracts for some of these things as well sort of like the coke/ pepsi thing.

Could be they just dont have it. That would be my guess.

Cocktail waitress in the main floor very late at night on a Friday at a busy craps table, think it was $10 or $25 limit, said they don't have Stoli, but immediately offered Absolut and brought me a strong one. Same thing the next morning playing the 9/6 video poker machine in the back of the high limit room.

Yeah, I can't imagine not being comped Stoli in the HL room unless they didn't have it.

HL rooms even at my local casinos comp some nice booze.

    Santé,
