Thinking about my 5th visit to Vegas-I've read great things about both pools-can anyone give me pros and cons (if any) of both? Or a better one near the middle of the strip? Stayed at the Bellagio last time, loved it, just wanted to try a different place this time.

MB's pool complex blows Flamingos out of the water.

The "scenery" is much much better at Mandalay Bay too.

MB has a lazy river, a beach with sand and a wave pool.

MB was built in 1999, Flamingo was built in 1950.

Mandalay Bay by a long shot.

Not too sure about MB pools but Flamingo is a big party pool. The main pool is busy busy, particularly at the weekend. If you like games and booze and you are young you may enjoy it. They start queueing ages before it opens, particularly at the weekends. it looked impossible to get a sunbed after a while and there were many people on towels on the concrete but if you want a party in the middle of the Strip you may like that, particularly if you're going to be in the pool partying as well. Their other smaller pool is now the family one. The large party pool is adults only with all that entails. I suppose it all comes down to whether you are young and also if you want to stay middle Strip. If neither matters then MB for sure.

The Mandalay Bay pool complex also offers European bathing (top optional) in an adult party pool setting at Moorea Beach Club. Must be 21+.

    Enjoy!

Another nice mid-strip pool is at Caesars.

It's worth noting though that Moorea at Mandalay isn't free.

True - I think it was about $30-50 to get in.

Depends on what you're looking for.

MB has its benefits but will be oozing with kids almost everywhere....

Flamingo is nice, kind of secluded with waterfalls that you can swim under...large sprawling pool area...lots of palm trees
