Scotland to Vegas in April

    Hi,
    This is my first post, I live in the Shetland Islands in Scotland.
    My wife and I are making our annual trip to Las Vegas in April. We have made at least 12 trips over the last 10 years, we will have to look out our old passports and do a proper count.
    We stay at Bally's and Paris because we like the casinos and the location.
    When in Vegas we do a lot of shopping for clothes for ourselves and our family back home. We like to take in a concert when we visit and we have lucky to see some big names over the years.
    Our gambling habits are mainly slots and a little video poker, we have never won big but we have won enough to buy some nice presents to ourselves over the years!

    April and October are perfect, weather-wise to be in Vegas.

    We go to Vegas in April and October because my wife is a teacher. We went once in July to celebrate our Silver Wedding and the heat was extreme for us northeners.
    Our islands are as far north as the southern tip of Greenland but we do not freeze up due to the Gulf Stream. We are missing all the snow that is affecting England and southern Scotland at the moment but it is a bit chilly.
