I am going back to LV in 4 weeks (for
Chinese new year). I'll be staying at cosmo --twice now I've stayed in wrap-around in east tower but I've heard of Lanai suite and want to try it out..

-What is average $$ per night, for weekend?
    -Is decor better than Wrap-Around?
-Available only on the West tower only --any drawback to this?
-does anyone know a casino host so I can get casino rate?? Haha..I promise
To take care of the host!!!

    Hello!

Last trip in august we stayed in both. The only issue with had with the Lani Sweet is nothing worked in it.. we had no air .. no tv and the repair guys didnt show up until 3 am.. this was the worst night we ever had in vegas .. so becareful. Now the rooms are amazing .. right by the pool .. has its own hottub . i dont know the price diffrences but if everything had worked we would have loved that room.

Price was $750 per night when I was looking at it for early March.

thanks all. $750 isnt bad. Yaldain, you should have asked to be moved to be bungalow!

for the most part i havent noticed any major deficiencies with cosmo service in two previous stays. just a minor issue where housekeeping was a bit slow after i called for the room to be service. everyone is really nice though.

We stayed at both back in August of 2011. We actually prefered the wrap around to the Lanai. The Lanai seemed smaller and uncomfortable. The lighting in the bathroom was really bad. The jacuzzi was on a timer and shut itself off after 30 minutes. The only thing that it really had going for it was the jacuzzi area opened to the pool. I will try and attach some pics of the Lanai suite we stayed in hope they help in your decision making.

Thanks Gmoney. It actually doesn't look that special and does seem smaller. I had thought it was like skyloft @ MGM. Ah well I think I'll stick to wrap around. Thanks!

Yeah, we thought it would be something special too. We thought it would be something along the lines of a terrace suite at the MGM(size wise anyway) and it wasn't; and, if you don't have bell service deliver and pick up your luggage you are hauling em up and down those stair yourself.

I know a lot of it is due to the required signage , but man that hot tub is an eyesore..
