    Too little, too late

Forbes touches upon a few of the key points why this a'hole is an a'hole.

Now maybe if he can flip UCI and if he can get acceptance from those he so personally wronged, he can be upgraded to simply pathetic.

    Do you mean doping?

I don’t think anyone really gives a shit about the doping. Do they? It is the lives he tried to ruin by suing, slandering and harassing anyone who dared speak the truth about him.

Eddie, this is why Armstrong is unique:

And that there is mounting evidence that he was in cahoots with the governing body, as well.

I don't care about the other stuff you mentioned. I'm assuming every one of them came out because they were given some offer to get a story told.

There are many worse people in this world. I find it hard to hate someone that created a large cancer organization when there are so many other people to hate.

It's no secret that every, I repeat every, top racer was a doper throughout the 90's, most likely up to today. that is why when they voided armstrongs wins in the tour da france they didnt put anyone else in as the winner.

Armstrong is a liar, a perjurer, and a cheat without doubt, but so was everyone else.(except the perjury part). Acting shocked or angry at Armstrongs admission is simply ridiculous, the teams knew what was going on, the sponsors did, the entrants all did, and the doping commission certainly did.

Armstrong is a perfect reflection of our modern world. Corrupt to the core, and deluded to the max.

Please say he lied in sworn testimony and they get to haul his sorry ass to jail! Or is that why he is coming forward and trying to cast himself as a whistleblower. Maybe he is trying to save his bacon. At least people are coming back and demanding their money back from him.

My guess is that this is some sort of mea culpa. I really don't think the interview will help him legally. But his ego is pretty huge, so he may think it will help him. He seems like a real **** ( word for rooster that rhymes with clock ).

Plus, what kind of idiot dumbs Sheryl Crow?

I think you mean: What kind of idiot dumps Sheryl Crow because she wanted to start a family and then goes out an knocks someone else up?

When does the bracelet burning start?

I'm with Ken, I don't care what he has to say. It's more than lying about doping that irritates me. If that was all he did, I'd just be disinterested. But his resume is filled with vindictive actions toward anyone who dared to scream "the emperor has no clothes." For that reason I will not only ignore his psycho-babble, but will also root against him.

Yeah, it's hard to hate a guy who did a lot for cancer awareness/fundraising/etc., but I'll have much more respect for the organization if it remains divorced from that loser.

ask for forgivenss, trying to pay money back to the government (thats called a bribe isn't it?), want to compete in sport again and no mention of all the people he threatened over the years to get to where he is now - a very rich bored man.

takes some ball to do that.

From VeloNews' website. VN also is reporting that the feds have already turned down a settlement offer from Armstrong.

He's going to have to write a LOT of checks.

Totally lost all respect for him (well any I had left anyways).

My wife just asked me about a month ago when his refusal to submit and stripping of his medals was in the news, "I don't understand why he would fight so hard all this time and then just give up"

My response to her: "Because he's guilty!"

She didn't know Mr Right's first name was Always :evillaugh

He has the worst oversized ego and deserves to burn. I started disliking him when he found it necessary to schmooze with all the celebrities and start jogging with Jake Gyllenhall and Matthew McCoughney. Is he too good for everyday people? Then, after being stripped of his title, he tweeted a picture of himself lounging in front of all his awards in a defiant post. Burn, bastard, burn.
