    Hey all,

I saw a really good offer in my offers - which have slowed down considerably.

I enjoy the Flamingo but with the code I was only getting 2 nights discounted (and not greatly discounted).

So I stated looking at other CET hotels and their rates with the offer code. I saw that I could get the Quad for almost free for May 16-20 (May long weekend)...so I booked it. That is not nearly my first choice but the price was good, first night was absolutely free so I didn't have to pay anything upfront and I can cancel up to 72 hours in advance.

However, I now can't use that rate code to check out the other hotels of interest during those same dates. is there a way to get around this?

You could always just look at the rate calendar in reservations. But that I know of you can't look with the offer code on those days that you have booked already.

Someone correct me if I am wrong on this.

Usually the rate calendar has better rates, but not this time so I need to use the code.

:beer:Hey Donny me and my group received CET offers this week also. We had went from Flamingo to Harrahs. The offers arrived and PH was $37 per night for a few in our group of 6 (three rooms). I ended up just calling on the phone and ended up with 3 comped nights in my name only. We generally use to people and two comp cards per room to drive the rate down. We were able to get all three rooms comped and we are extremely low rollers. Sooo give them a call its usually your best option some are very helpful.

If you really don't want to stay at the Quad, call the reservation line, and see what they can do to get you into the Flamingo. Or, make it your first bet and just cancel the Quad Reservation and use the offer code to look at the Flamingo. Chances are the Quad rates will still be there if you have to rebook within a short time. Personally, I would pick this option.....You get the weight of the world off your shoulders as soon as you cancel a reservation you really dont want....Let the chips lay where they land....Good luck and have fun

If I'm not mistaken, isnt the Quad the IP renamed? So of course you will get low rates due to the construction of the Linq project. And if I remember correctly, they have changed the name but remodeling the rooms won't be finished until the end of this year at best. Sounds like a mess I wouldn't want to deal with if I had a choice. I would take the previous posters advice to cancel and stay where I knew I would enjoy myself.

Once you have an active reservation in the system their system will not let you check rates of any of the other properties for the same dates you already have booked since you already have rooms. All of their computers cross check each other so people don't book comp'd rooms at several different properties for the same nights. In order to get the rates you would have to cancel your reservation or you may be able to call in their reservation line to check rates.

Yes. Select the offer from "Your Offers" link on the TR welcome page as long as it says "BOOKABLE" in the bottom right-hand corner of the offer. When it offers to book offer online, select "offer calendar" and it will take you to a new page. On that new page on the left hand side, the bottom drop-box is SHOPPING TOOLS, select "All Las Vegas Casinos" and make sure the dropbox above still lists the offer number.

It will come with a pop-up box saying "You currently have a room deal in your trip planner. Would you like to use one of our shopping tools to view this deal?" Select Yes. You will now have one month's worth of views for all the Vegas casinos using your offer.

Of course, you still will not be able to book an offer until you cancel your previous reservation.

I have also found I can do better using the rate calendar than my offers. After submitting my TR number and password, I go to the Caesars home page, go to the reservation area, and then hit calendar. Whenever I do this I get more nights comped than when using my offers, including weekend nights sometimes. I started doing this last spring. Using my offers I was going to book Ballys for a 5 night stay (Sat-Wed night) for $200. I went to the rate calendar and got the same 5 nights comped at Paris. I thought it was a mistake, but booked the room and it came back all 5 nights comped. Did the same in the fall and for this spring for Sat-Tues stays at Ballys and all nights were comped there, Quad, Rio, and Harrahs with paying a small amount for Saturday at the Flamingo and a little more for Saturday at Paris. I have found this works better for CET props located other than Vegas - Tunica and Biloxi to be specific.

Once you have booked a room, you cannot check rates at CET props for the same time period.
