We haven't been to Spice Market for years. Back when PH was still Aladdin. I remember it being good -- and popular! But don't hear about it much anymore. Still good? What types of food are there now? How are the lines? Is there a Diamond express line?

    Thanks in advance!

From top of my head i think those are the stations

    starting from the left

    Fish/sea food
    salads/cheeese/cold cuts
    soup
    italian
    asian
    carving
    desserts
    mid eastern
    soup
    mexican
    salad/bread

Still a pretty popular buffet, lines vary a lot day to day could be an ahour could be 5 minutes, yes to the vip line

We went for breakfast in December and I wasn't impressed. It was okay--I believe they had pre-made smoothies that were good. Otherwise, nothing special. They do have a Diamond line and you can get $5 off coupon @ Destination Coupons.

My wife and I have eaten there twice in the last three years and her brother went with his wife last June, and none of us thought it was worth the money. The food isn't terrible by any means (though the service was), but Paris is next door and is so much better for the same price. For $6 more at dinner you can walk across the street to the Cosmo and have a truly great buffet. And if that's out of your budget, the Bellagio is only $1 more on weeknights.

I have had lunch and dinner there a couple times over the past year and had vry good experiences each time. I used to think that paris had the best CET buffet, but it has declined. Spice Market is the best (disclaimer, haven't tried the new Caesars buffet yet)

I agree with UKFanatic. Spice Market is one of our favorite...especially for dinner. Paris buffet has gone downhill IMO also. Platinum and above can use the "special" line. We usually get seated closest to the seafood station. Excellant tempura shrimp. crab legs, boiled shrimp and other choices there. We stay at PH every trip so usually eat at the buffet several times.

I've eaten there twice, both times for lunch and enjoyed it each time. The Cajun Tilapia is really good.

Thanks everyone! We have a lot of RCs and never use many at our nearby CETs in Tunica so look forward to using them in Vegas. vegasqc very impressive remembering the individual stations like that!

Stay away from breakfast and you'll be okay.

I like their fried chicken and soft serve custard.

Bring back the different desserts. I'm not partial to all those cupcakes.

Have eaten dinner the last three years and always liked it. Nice selection. The seafood section areavalways seems a little crowded.

This was the first buffet that my wife and I ate at on our first trip to Vegas. I didn't care for it the first time, but for some reason we kept going back. The more we ate there, the more we liked it!

After the Le Village buffet in Paris this is our second favorite!

Other than the smoothies, I preferred Palace Station's $4.99 breakfast buffet over PH's. This was fairly recent, as our visit was in early December.
The morning we ate at PH, the entire group of Miss Universe contestants were also at the buffet and even that wasn't enough for me to change my opinion on the quality.

I;ve eaten there twice, and haven't been impressed. On par with the Flamingo in my opinion -- certainly enjoyable, but nothing to write home about. I prefer Mirage, Bellagio, Caesars, and Mandalay Bay.

We did the Buffet of Buffets pass. Had a late dinner at Spice Market Buffet, Had a VERY salty breakfast at Paris, a mediocre lunch at Rio and back to Spice Market for an earlier dinner.

In hindsight we should have just eaten all of the meals at Spice Market, but now we know.

We head back in April, going to do the buffet pass again but also pay extra for Bachannal for one meal.
