We're planning to be in Vegas for Cinco de Mayo and Halloween this year but are looking for a couple other suggestions.

Been there for just about every holiday, World Cup, Bike Fest and considering July 4th again but was wondering if others had suggestions of events they enjoy in Vegas.

    Thanks in advance.

I loved St Patrick's Day in Vegas.

I like Halloween because of all the interesting costumes and it doesn't get as crowded as those long weekend holidays.

Is St Patricks day better downtown or on the strip?

Had a blast for the Super Bowl last year.

Was there when the Rodeo was in town in 2010, streets were way overcrowded with trucks and cattle/horse trailers. The crowds inside the casinos during the rodeo were a blast though

That must be wild! Although I bet the naughty nurse quotient is pretty high.

I had a great time downtown on St Patty's, but it could just be that we went that night and I was just more drunk there. :wink2:

    Depends what your interests are.
The favorite times for sports lovers like myself is either a college/pro football weekend or March Madness.

If you're on vacation in Vegas, it's a good time. ;) That said, I had an especially good time during Halloween week, and if you're a car nut, like me, Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction (typically in September) is hard to beat.

+1 The first Thurs-Sun of March Madness is a great time to be in Vegas if you're a sports fan.
