a lucky find

    Yesterday, while walking a few blocks from me house, I noticed a matchbook near the sidewalk. Upon closer inspection, it was a vintage Sands matchbook with nearly all the matches intact.
    How it ended up in our small town (pop. 4,000) all these years later is a mystery. Someone had to be a collector and perhaps lost it, but who..?
    I did notice it had a value of around $10 on eBay.
    Had I not been a Vegas regular, I would not have given it a second thought and kept on walking.

    Not being an Ebay regular, I might have looked at the wrong price on my matchbook and perhaps it isn't worth $10.
