You're not alone Ross. I am neither creative, nor do I have a good memory: My initials, I figure I won't forget those. I can't believe the vikkign thing, we Minnesotans must think alike.
Let's see..like me, my name is short and sweet and to the point. My name is Jenn and one guess as to where I live.
As someone who's been messing around in the kitchen since my youth, it's a natural handle. Plus, I am certified as an executive chef by the American Culinary Federation.
Well, my usual name is "loserpadrefan," because I am a San Diego Padre fan and have endured soooo many years of pain and anguish. Around where I used to work, I was known as Vegas Jer, because I went so often and one time when Southwest had a super sale on airfare, brought a bunch of my employees out for a Vegas day trip. So, when I signed up for this board, thats what naturaly came to me.
I guess I was too into the idea of nobody really knowing who you are when you are on the internet. When I got on the net for the first time and began selecting screen names I had seen Jerry McGuire the night before. Bob Sugar is the younger agent (Jay Mohr I believe) who fires Tom Cruise. Seemed cool at the time and it stuck.
I have a couple of different one I use on the web. As far as the one I use on here, my name is obviously Mike or Michael (anything but late for dinner) and I am currently attending paramedic school.
BUMP! Being fairly new here, I was digging through the archives, reading trip reports and anything else that looked interesting and I came along this thread. I picked my handle based on a nickname in high school. It doesn't sound much like my real last name, but it stuck until college (that's a whole nother story all together) And no 24 year old can grow up without being a huge Glen Campbell fan right??
No, I am not a black man named Jack . It is simply my favorite game, although, lately I have been considering a change. When I 1st signed up, I figured it would be taken but I tried it anyway. Now I'm a little bored with it's lack of creativity. As I approach post #1000, it may be a good time to change. I'd ask for suggestions, but that's just leaving the volleyball hangin' at the net . This handle, which I use on all the forums I post on, is actually the name of my cat-- translates to "cat" in Swahili. The real Paka-
