So I heard from my host at the Plaza that the new lounge / bar on the casino floor opened last week they are running it themselves now and it has live entertainment 5 nights a week. He says it has changed the way the casino feels and gives it much more energy. Sounds like something they desperately needed.

On a side note I asked if the sunspots could come back and he said they have tried to get them but can't track them all down, anyone know where they are now? Would be amazing to do a reunion there.

Has anyone seen or been to the bar?

I would LOVE to see Dusty Baron come back. He was a great entertainer.

One of the best lounge acts I've seen in Vegas was at the Plaza. It was an excellent female lead singer with a solid band backing her up. Small scale operation, but this act fit in perfectly within the context of a lounge and that gal had a voice. That was about 8-9 year ago.
Don, I wish I could remember the name of the group, cuz I'm sure you'd know of them.

The cheesiest act there was the Ink Spots, but God love 'em anyway.
