I was watching House Hunters on Friday night and a new Vegas episode was on. The episode is titled, Las Vegas Dancer Wants His First Place
Episode HNT-6110H. If any of you realtors or other Vegas natives know the neighborhood of the third house that was for $130,000 it would be greatly appreciated if you could let me know what it is.

My wife and I love Vegas and have often thought about getting a place somewhere. I really wish that HGTV had some place you could look online to find out more about the places these people are looking.

Anyway if you saw the episode and can help me out it would be great. Thanks.

The realtors are almost always listed in the credits of the show - look them up and ask:thumbsup:

I'm afraid I won't be of any help, but I saw the episode and really hope that we can find a place like that third one when we move out there.

Thanks for that advice, now to search for when it will be back on, or if I can watch it on demand.

I probably have it recorded -I have a HUGE backlog of House Hunters & House Hunters International on my basement DVR. Next time I'm watching, I'll try to look for the Vegas one and see if I can find the realtor..... (I did check the website and didn't see this as a full episode option to watch....)

Sadly, either the episode didn't show the realtor in the credits OR my dvr cut off too soon. I watched the episode last night and it didn't show it. HOWEVER  they named the realtor early in the episode and I'm pretty sure this is her (Mollie Tenant) and this is her website http://www.summerlinhomestoday.com/

    Good luck!

    Third house info

I know I am pretty Late on this one. But I just now watched that episode and fell in love of the 3 house as well. I also tried everywhere to find a website that has a rerun of that episode but could not find it.

Also I could not find that agent Mollie Tenant and for some reason there website also did not come up.

If anyone has any information about that house or that neighborhood I would greatly appreciate if anyone could enlighten me.

Thank you for the help. I appreciate it.

Hopefully I could get a beautiful property like that one.

How would you rate that area I think its called Mountains edge. is it a higher class area or a middle class area. Also how would you compaire it to teh Summerlin area which everyone I hear loves.

    Thanks

Mountain's Edge is master planned like Summerlin. There are homes in all price ranges. Mountain's Edge is pretty far out there and not many businesses around it so prices are considerably lower than Summerlin. Also, it was greatly affected by the bubble. Nearly every home has been short sale or foreclosed upon at some point. I've known people to love and hate it there. Those that love it, enjoy the affordability and don't mind being tucked away. Those that hate it had problems with bad renters as neighbors, and felt isolated.

I personally would not live there. It is too inconvenient for my liking.

Depending on the subdivision in Mountain's Edge, it is at least 13 miles to center strip or about 25 minutes. It is 7 miles or about 15 minutes to the nearest shopping center. And the nearest gas station is about 4 miles.
