Anyone know if the Orleans and Gold Coast shuttle will still stop by Bills once the remodeling starts at Bills.

I am pretty sure since Boyd sold the Barbary Coast property to Harrah's that the shuttle stopping there has more to do with that little turnaround traffic light and bus stop area than it has to do with Bill's being open. Now it is a courtesy shuttle to the Strip. However, if construction closes that drop off area it could be shut down.

They probably will have to move it. They tried to move it to the Trop before and there was a backlash. If they want to keep the stop center strip, I think CET will work with them.

It is unlikely they would ever stop that shuttle service to that part of the strip. My thinking would be possibly Ballys somewhere near the sports book entrance since they CET have the Rio shuttle near the other entrance or at the Flamingo Hotel. Boyd and CET benefit greatly from this shuttle and to end it would hurt them both.

It would be good if it went to Bally's or Harrah's and linked up with the Rio shuttles. However, so long as that pick-up and drop-off area remains out the front of Bill's I think they will continue to use that for convenience.

I just read that the Orleans shuttle will be making its strip stop at Bally's Flamingo Rd entrance starting January 28. That puts it a couple hundred feet closer to Ellis Island. I'm sure the Bally's folk hope that you will traverse their casino floor in order to utilize their moving walkway to the strip.

Yeah, I was on the shuttle on the 28th and most on the bus were perplexed when we stopped at Bally's as the "Strip" stop. A bit more of a hike to the Strip than they had expected.
