    Hello Everyone,

Based on the numerous positive reviews, I just bought a ticket for Carrot Top for my upcoming solo trip. First row, almost center. So, Carrot Top will actually be good? Y'all aren't just yanking my chain by saying he'll be good and it turns out he's as bad as Criss Angel?

I'll be hitting up the Riviera Comedy Club the next night, but that ticket will be free so I'm not expecting much (perhaps I'll be pleasantly surprised).

    love carrot top!

saw him a few years ago & thought he was great - since you're in the front row, he may even heckle you ;)

Carrot top is definitely pretty entertaining. I saw him a couple of weeks ago. Just don't watch any of his bits on the Internet because he uses some of the same stuff in his act at the luxor. Just go in fresh and you'll have a good time. They let you bring drinks in as well if they're in a plastic cup. A few drinks before the show wouldn't hurt. You'll also likely get a free shot of Crown as he walks through the first couple rows passing out shots at about the middle of the show. Enjoy!

Yep, we were on the first row and got a shot of Crown. We didn't stop laughing through the whole show. I was also very skeptical and loved it.

    jimbo,

I used to ask the same question. I got my answer in October - yes, he is. For a few years, I was hesitant to go to his show thinking sight gags can't be that funny. Uh, they are. Besides those, he is genuinely a funny guy, loves to interact with the audience and has a positive vibe about him.

The shot thing is true, he comes into the audience and gives Crown shots to whoever wants them. Really a cool show!

He is a very appealing and funny guy. Way better then I thought and I think most people feel the same way.

No one goes in there thinking carrot top is their favorite comedian, at least i have never heard anyone say that.

They all leave with sore sides, smiles on their faces, and a new found love for the guy.

    You will be pleasantly suprised.

"The best show you never wanted to see" pretty well sums it up.

Went in with much trepidation, dragging my wife and daughter along over their loud protests. We all had a blast.

Agreed with all of the above posters -- he was hysterical and I wasn't expecting that I'd think so. I also enjoyed trying to figure out what plastic surgery he's gotten done (not that I'm an expert but he looks so different).

We"ll I to was very sceptical, and end up crying and blowing snot bubbles during his performance last year. So good, I have front and center tickets mid January.
Also I think he's off the steroids now.

Add another to the "I was dragged in but went back several times" crowd. You won't be disappointed in any way.

It's the only show I've seen more than once (4 times!). Actually,I saw Jersey Boys twice in Vegas too (4 times if you count other cities). But Carrot Top is a blast. Sitting up front is great since you can see his props up close.

I went to see him in October based solely on everyone's recommendation here and you can add me to the list of folks who think it's the best show I didn't want to see. In fact he even jokes about that fact during his act.

Thank you, everyone, for the reassurance.

For me the ultimate endorsement is if someone would see it again. I would, and I didnt want to the first time. Didnt blow me away or anything, but was a fun night.

You"ll be safe from mine! But on a drunken weekend show, I'm sure someone else will add a few snot particles to the air. :drunk:

HE IS AWESOME! I said the same thing when my Dad bought tickets, but it was the best show I've seen in Vegas, I've never laughed so hard in my life.

Unless you aren't in to silly humor you should love it.
