    My Trip Report

well i really was surprised how much i liked tunica .
i stayed 2 nights 12/23-12/24 the gold strike hotel was very nice , decent size and clean
i played ALOT of craps had a great time ...
every employee i came across was nice and always without fail acknowledged you , said hi , how are you ... whatever goes along way in my book ...
i even got a food comp at the craps table , for the burger place in the G.S
not the best food and not worth 15.00 but it was free...
    checked out most casinos
    horsehoe ...nice i like it
roadhouse ...reminds me of logans , with slot machines....nope do not like
sams town ...yup good place here i will stay more next time i go
fitz .....nope kinda bad vibe for me even 3 dollar craps table couldnt get me to play
resorts .....they suck got 10.00 in freeplay for signing up but machines would not take card , employees did not give a fuck
yes i will go back hope to get offers in mail
food options are somewhat limited and pricey
there is a place called the mexican grill off of hwy 61 very good worth stopping in

yeah they were busy , not packed but plenty of people about
i thought xmas day they might be slow , but they were rather busy i was surprised
the part i liked was there were no lines , or at least short ones when it came to the resturants , unlike vegas where it takes some time to be seated in a resturant .

Tunica gets especially busy on the weekend evenings because it is a locals casino for so mnay players.

Not sure what the burger place at GS is, though? Curious if there is some restaurant I;ve somehow overlooked there

I agree with all : Tunica rocks!

Glad you enjoyed it. I never knew the Fitz has $3 craps. I've only played GS, Harrahs and the Shoe. I'll have to check out the Fitz.

We love tunica. We get down there every couple of years. My father in law has had to give up golf, so Last time we tried the sporting clays (shooting skeet / clay pigeons) at Harrahs. They have ten shooting stations set up at the edge of a soybean field. Had a great time.

I think a lot of the employees in Tunica are happy to have a job since there isn't much in the way of local economy except for the casinos. Almost everybody there is super friendly.
