Have they integrated their reward systems yet? I have gotten an offer from The D for Superbowl, but was wondering if my play at GG would count towards my stay at the D...

If its not officially integrated, it seems like it effectively is. The host who sent the limo for us to Golden Gate also limoed our group over to the D last trip and back.....its all a very drunk and fuzzy memory, but we spent time at both, with the same host, and it all seemed integrated in function.

When the Plaza and Vegas Club combined their Players Clubs, it took the Gaming Commission OVER one year to OK it after it was submitted to them.

My point is that it may be waiting on the Gaming Commissions approval.

I asked Derick Stevens (the owner of the D and partial owner of GG) when i stayed at GG 3 weeks ago about having 1 cards for both properties and he said because he was a full owner of one property and a partial in the other the gaming commission won't allow it.

I thought it was an odd reason but if anyone would know it would be him.

Speaking of the D, is the pool there completely useless? The Golden Gate advises that guests can use the pool over there, but if it is awful, it's not really a benefit.

Can someone enlighten me on the blackjack rules at The D? I played some DDB video poker there a few weeks ago but cant recall what their blackjack games were like. Do they have a decent double deck game? 3-2? S17? DAS? I would be playing at tables with a minimum of $25 to $100. Thanks!

HUD I played there last spring during ncaa tournament for a couple hours on a single deck DS S17 $10 min, with 3/2. Double was 10 ans 11 with splitting aces the only limitation. Good dealers.

Made a little money at BJ. Long bar VP tables not so great.

Thanks Funkhouser! Are you going to make it out for Superbowl?
