Never been around xmas but I'll be at Paris on the 26th on a spur of the moment couple of days. Crowded? Busy?

I'll be there to meet Sandra (angel81chick), she's at Paris, I will be at Flamingo. I don't come in til the 27 though...from my past experience, it's the calm before the NYE storm. Who knows though, it seems like lots of people are taking advantage of the inexpensive hotel rates this time of year. I think it will be crowded, but not terribly busy. How long you in town for??

I've gone the past 5 or 6 years for Christmas we usually go like the 23 come back the 26 or 27th. It's usually dead on like the 22-23 then they start pouring in on Christmas eve and Christmas day. Then it's steadily more busy till New Years Eve. It's likely busy because it's so reasonable. We always get our best deals in December.

It's not unbearably busy or anything, some years were busier than others.. I only recall one of those years being like ridiculously busy.

Be there 24-27 ourselves again for Christmas, we have been the last 4 now 5 Christmas and it varies as to how busy I gotta say. Three years ago it was PACKED on South Strip and Palms but not bad elsewhere while last year it was pretty quiet South Strip and really busy Mid Strip to V/P area. BTW any of you there on Christmas and who have not seen we are having a Christmas Breakfast GTG at Sugar Factory if ya are interested.

Will be there from December 26th through January 6th. Have done this for the past 4 years. The crowds will be light on the 26th and 27th then it will begin to pickup on Friday, December 28th with all the west coasters flooding in on the weekend. By Sunday, December 30th things will be in full swing, and the crowds will increase a little more on December 31st with the last minute arrivals. Having said this I've never had an issue getting on a table or slot machine...except after the fireworks on New Years Eve then all the tables are jammed packed. Just remember to have your room key with you if you are out on the strip, you may need it to get back into your hotel as security maybe checking.

I don't like the strip on New Year's Eve I always attend a private party...but you may like it...but be prepared to be packed in like sardines.

We get in at 7:30 PM Xmas Eve and leave the 28th. Couldn't pass up the $100 one way fare from Mke to Vegas that night.

Took the $215 saving credits and booked another for April! Thank you SWA!

Of course we'll be downtown, not on the Strip.

We haven't setup anything. I'll throw one out. Dec 26th, 10pm, in front of the Choc bar entrance to the sugar factory from the casino.

Heads up, my parents came in on Sunday and my friends were there this weekend, they both said it's EXTREMELY busy, lots of traffic, busiest they've seen it for this time of year in a long time (we go every year, I just couldn't make it this year!)

Busy but not packed, No problem eating of getting on a table or machine but, since 74 when I starting going there to gamble I haven't seen so many people carded everywhere I went. A lot of family's too. I forgot, schools out.
