    I am a Jet fan.
    .
I had given Mark Sanchez "hope".
    I knew his shortcomings.
Always trying to make a play out of nothing ---
instead of just throwing the ball away.
He threw the ball away once last season.
This year I saw him "throw it away" twice.
Can you imagine an NFL QB ONLY THROWING IT AWAY
3 times in two seasons ?
    ?
What the hell is wrong with this guy ?....this ain't college !
    .
    But he hasn't improved -
    .
Last game was "THE END" for me w/ Sanchez.
He threw into triple coverage - NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE !
And I swear, he didn't care -- he just figured "Maybe, something
    good will happen."
    Both interceptions, of course.
    .
I know alot of you will read this + comment --
"He should have been gone long ago !"
    .
And NO TEBOW ! PLEASE !.....he sucks.

I'm a Jets fan too. And it's gotten to the point I can't watch the guy. Thank goodness he's now benched (6 weeks too late) and Tebow is a no go. The kid is getting the chance next game.

    I hear ya....
    .
I thought Sanchez could still "do it" as he
    did a couple seasons ago.
The Jets were rolling him out + lotsa play action -
cos he was not a pocket passer.
He lost some good players around him +
they stopped rolling him out as much.
    .
Then the Jet Owner signs in Tebow :nono:......which told me alot that
Sanchez days were limited......even if Tebow sucks.
The point was "the writing's on the wall".
But he never improved......the team got worse...and now he's worse.
    .
So what did Sancez get ?.....a 4 year NFL starting QB career......
that's alot more than Browning Nagle !

I agree... I'm a Raider fan, which means I have absolutely no right to criticize what any team does, but he's had plenty of time to develop with good talent around him. It just hasn't happened??

Ok, you can tell from my handle where my loyalties lay, but I have to agree, Sanchez really isn't going to get it done for the Jets. Honestly, I thought he may have had a chance to improve, but now that the Jets have the most awesome Offensive Coordinator....

Good luck with that (well, not really, but I truly understand the disappointment of a mid-pack team and years of mediocre quarterbacks):poke:

Wow, and I thought it was only the Lions that destroyed quarterbacks.

I don't know much about the Jets, but OMG after watching that game, what the hell is Rex thinking? Pull him out, put him back in, then pull him out again. Yea, that's a great way to build QB confidence.

The Jets as a team pretty much suck with a bad coach and a worst GM. Since Sanchez's first couple of years I don't think the GM has drafted almost no offensive players. Gee, that's a big help for him. No QB could help this Jets circus of players imo. The don't have much choice because he is getting paid by the Jets rather he plays, sits or gets cut I belive 8m for next year.

Sanchez is not the problem with the Jets. Most pro qb's will look pretty good with a good o line.

Thats the fault of the gm.

He was decent in the past, how is it that he got worse?

Stories about Michael Vick going to the Jets next year make me laugh, because it would surprise me and it wouldn't surprise me.

I am not a Jets fan but I always figured Sanchez must have nice feet. I was hoping he would stay there forever along with his always repulsive clueless foot loving head coach.

I still say he "threw" that playoff game against
    ( I think it was ) Miami.
It was the worst quarterbacking I'd seen ever !
I swear he was "on the take".:grrr:
    Freakin' Richard Todd !

    Hahhahahahahahahahahaha.

Don't say that about Vick. He's found a way to f**k me week in week out this year in Fantasy. Plus I'm in a keeper league so he has zippy value now.

Yep, hope Tebow goes to Jax, where he should have gone in the first place.....he would do well there. Sanchez has too much guaranteed dough to be a backup, maybe the Jets can trade him for some picks, they certainly need to retool their offense.

Who would give them anything. The jets will have to pay for someone to take him. A couple of draft picks? He is guaranteed 8m and change. If he sits, gets cut, he still is paid and it still counts against the cap. If they pay someone to just take him that contract is still payed by the jets and still goes against the cap. They are pretty much screwed with him.
