    My Trip Report

I'm currently sitting at the gate waiting for my flight to LAS for my second solo trip and fourth overall. I'll be spending the week at Flamingo. I usually plan everything to death but not so much this time. I've got 4 nights planned more or less with shows leaving one night open for now. There's also a board meet an greet happening which I hope to make it to. I did just find out that my uncle and his wife will be in town this week as well so I might be hooking up with them at some point.

This won't be a live trip report although I will have data access on my phone and will try and post any important stuff although I know this won't be nearly as entertaining as Beejay and crew.

    Wish me luck!

Well I made it safe and sound. Arranged a pick up by one of the cabbie on Twitter so no need to be worried about the tunnel.

Checked into Flamingo and I had had a GO booked but that's not what I ended up in. The $20 trick got me into a freaking Cosmopolitan Suite!!! [IMG]

Found out what Rod Stewart is doing when he's not playing at Caesars, he's a security guard in the Margaritaville Casino.

Currently sitting at Margaritaville having breakfast. Woke up this morning feeling like utter crap and it's not a hangover. I had woken up Saturday in rough shape and spent almost the entire day in bed. I actually said to myself if I felt the same way on Sunday I wasn't going. Luckily I felt much better on Sunday, not so much this morning but not anywhere as bad as Saturday. I'm hoping after breakfast and a trip to Walgreens I'll feel better. Think I might hit the outlets today just to be outside and walking around.

Damn, habs0, that sucks! Hope you can get the blood cells to co-operate and feel better right away!

I recommend a day of playing Keno in the room, room service, and maybe the company of 3 or 4 of those Tiffani/Crystal/Brandi hockey players they have on the hockey cards they give out on the strip.

It's cool temp wise but not freezing. Not cold enough to stop the young women from wearing dresses that barley cover their ass cheeks. You can tell the locals as they're all dressed like they're going to the Arctic.

I might have to throw some coin down on the Jays after this off season. Also want to see if any of the books are taking bets on the World Juniors.

Cloudy and breezy morning. Currently sitting on the patio at MAG and I have it basically all to myself. It started to spit and everyone wussed out and headed inside. Obviously none of them are Canadian.

It is really something how the locals react to rain there. I guess I can understand it, when you only get 2" or so a year.

    <insert joke here>

I wonder if that is the same guy that plays poker a lot at Flamingo.

Small world! I saw a guy whom I assumed was a Rod Stewart impersonator walking along the strip with a girl a couple of years ago and it was in front of the Flamingo! It's hard to forget a guy with hair like his!

Went to see Copperfield tonight. $20 got me upgraded by the usher from the super shitty Tix4Tonite seat I had to practically sitting on the stage. I was literally at the stage almost dead centre. Being that close and I have no clue how that man does it. Completely mind-blowing.

After that headed to Cosmo for a bit where I met this very pretty brunette who was a solid 9 and wanted to hang out and have drinks with me. I'm sure she was into me right????

    From the wallet down.

Cool to know that the greased palm still works. I've gotta try that, get some shitty seat and get 'upgraded'.
