What would be a decent, quick (no long lines) and reasonably priced breakfast place close to Paris and Bally's?

I know about Le Village and a few buffets nearby. But all the talks about 1-hour lines are scaring me. And they are quite expensive. Anything a little simpler and less fancy but still better than McDonald's?

    Thanks! :nworthy:

    Reasonable Fare

"Decent" and "close" may vary greatly in Vegas terms, but I'd suggest Ellis Island on Koval just east of Bally's. If you go out the back of Bally's (down by the sportsbook) it's maybe a ten minute walk. Big, cheap and decent meals at all hours, but breakfasts are a strong point. The ham slices are as big as the plate. Some people think it's a dicey area, but my wife and I have walked it from 7:30 am til after midnight and never had any issues. It's just not on the strip, which I think makes some visitors unfamiliar with the town nervous.

If it`s warm enough the patio at mon gabi at the front of paris is great for brekkie. they have lots of heaters also.

bacon and eggs with 3 eggs, applewood smoked bacon and the tastiest hashbrowns I have had anywhere is about ten bucks.

The restaurants in the back of the Miracle Mile shops all seem to have cheap breakfast specials, like $3.95 at La Salsa Cantina or the wraps at the Fresh bar and grill.

Planet Dailies inside Planet Hollywood Casino has no line, and the food is reasonably priced.

Terrible's has a very tasty breakfast and its easily accessible from center strip. They have a very affordable buffet and diner. You also have Casino Royale and and Ellis Island nearby with decent food options for cheap.

Personally I've stopped staying on strip because I got tired of being gouged on food prices for the same exact food I can get at other places in town. I would highly recommend the short drive to downtown or taking the sdx which stops at all major strip hotels and takes you straight to Fremont street. There are a lot of quality buffets and restaurants there where you can eat for about $10 each, maybe less. My best picks being the Fremont, Binions cafe and Main street station.

You should also consider taking flamingo over the I-15 to the Gold Coast. They have a really good buffet and its about $6.99 for breakfast or $7.99 for lunch. Its good quality food with short lines and great service. Sure its not the buffet at the rio, but its very good.

While in Planet Hollywood, check the lines at Spice Market.
With this coupon, the price is $14 and since it includes drinks that makes it reasonable especially if you have CET points to apply to it, except on Sundays when they do that damn brunch ripoff as do most buffets. Then you want a menu at a restaurant.

Oh, be aware that there is a line downstairs, so if the line upstairs is long, it isn't what you want. However, I've been there when I just went directly downstairs directly and there were only a few folks ahead of me, 7 minutes at most.

If you eat late enough to shuttle over to the Gold Coast or Orleans from Bill's, you can get a decent breakfast cheaper. American Casino Guide has a coupon for a free one with 200 points earned.

The cafe at Bellagio does serve decent breakfast and usually there is a short line, if any.

The coffee shop at Bally's is open for breakfast and you can either order off the menu or do a mini-buffet in the back.

Nathan's (Nathan's fries - mmmmm!) serves breakfast. It's down and across from the sports book.

Mon Ami Gabi and Sugar Factory at Paris both have excellent breakfasts and don't have to be pricey. We've enjoyed both many times. Once there was a wait at Gabi, so we walked over to the Sugar Factory, where there has never been a line when we have been there for breakfast.

We can 2nd the great breakfasts at Ellis Island. Hubby loves the steak & egg special and I like the vanilla french toast...both are yummy & cheap. We also enjoy Plant Dailies at PH. They have some killer granola if you want to go light... :)

Been there a few times, pretty good. The view might get chilly this time of year.

Another one, nothing special but have always had good food, bally's coffee shop, basic.

    La Salsa Cantina

I'll put in another nod for La Salsa Cantina in the Mirarcle Mile/PHO complex. Great cheap 'mexican' breakfast for around 3 bucks with very very good homemade bloody mary's for $1. Kinda loud but good food
