Is it relatively easy to find Guinness beer on tap at the bars in casinos on the strip and downtown? Thanks...............

Had a few during my last trip at Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY, good selection of whiskeys as well.

Funny place, though. Service was a bit stand-offish until the tips brought 'em around, and the bar on the main floor (at least, they have two or three levels) had some sort of dividers every few seats, so it was hard to meet your fellow drunks/ patrons.

Prices were pretty good, at least from a Canadian standpoint.

Guiness is pretty much everywhere, thank goodness. You won't have a problem finding it.

If you're near the south part of the Strip, Mandalay Place (shopping area adjacent to Mandalay Bay) has a nice Irish pub called Ri Ra and a Guinness store.

    Cheers!

IMHO Guinness does not travel well and the several times i have tried in LV it hasn't tasted that great.

Guinness travels as well as any other import keg, if the bar doesn't have a nitrogen/CO2 system and did not train the staff how to pour a perfect pint, get something else.

I have to agree with hammie. I think that it was true years ago but transportation has improved. I've been in tons of bars where they do a single pour, gas pressure is wrong, lines are dirty, etc. But a good Irish pub that does it right and gets trained by Guinness is as good as it is in Ireland. Yes, I've had it in Ireland.

I would imagine that the place in Mandalay Bay is good, especially if they have a connection to Guinness. I went to 9 Fine Irishman many years ago and remember it being decent. I don't remember being upset, so at worst it was too cold.

Given I've only had it a 4-5 bars in Vegas {which is not a lot} it has tastes significantly worse than the Guiness on the east coast. To each their own though.

Que all non Americans saying yank beer is shit............. and go......
