Saw them working on the patio area when we were there2 weeks ago. I so hope the entire Neonopolis can make it.

Denny's is a solid anchor-type property for Neonopolis and can only help!

An In n Out would probably generate a lot more foot traffic in there than a Denny's would IMHO.

IMHO, I still don't see anything in there that I would go out of my way to visit. but that's just me.

Finally some place to go downtown at five AM after hooking up with any number of I.S.G.s.

Because one tall stack deserves another.

This one is an only-in-Vegas unique concept. Shouldn't count on the peeves list.

Nice! To compete with it there will be deals at other places, including graveyard deals.

I was thinking the same thing dewey.

denny`s is a pretty popular breakfast and lunch place and it should help create competition for good deals downtown although the deals on food downtown are pretty darn good right now.

It would be wonderful If this happens... Get some silverton-esque graveyard deals on the various menus downtown!!!

The first place I ever went in Vegas was a Denny's by Circus Circus back in the early 80s. I had just taken an interminably long Greyhound ride from Long Beach, CA and I was so hungry I decided to delay my virgin casino debut for some chow. I think I dropped a good 20 dollars in the slots at Denny's before I even got to a casino. Great memory.....

Oh my, oh my, talk about a flashback ...

Grad school. Having a few Friday afternoon pops at the local watering hole. Meet girl. Have more pops. Get wild hair to drive to Vegas. Get to Golden Nugget about 11:30 pm ...

Had one very hungover/PCD breakfast at that Denny's before heading back to So Cal. It was MLK weekend, I remember, because there was a big ass parade/march on LV Blvd.

Oh my, oh my, talk about a flashback.

For years I thought that Denny's made most of their profits from people who had the munches after bar time. Then I moved to the south and I experienced The Waffle House.....ugh. Put a Denny's next to a Waffle House and it is a license to print money. Denny's rocks, and yes the cheeseburgers are great, any time of day. My fave is their club Sandwhiches though.:peace:

Yes! The Waffle House I've gone to doesn't clear the tables at dinner time until it is needed... So we went in once after the dinner crowd around 11pm and they cleaned off a table for us. Noone else came in while we were there and so we just ate amongst tens of dirty tables full of used dishes. Disgusting.

If that was nowadays I'd have left, but that was back when I was young and had the late night munchies haha

    Go Denny's!

Lame... no offense meant, but really. Denny's is closing up places much quicker than they open them here in So. CA, and for good reason, way below average food, crappy service, and not that great of a deal. There used to be 4 in a 4 mile radius of me, now there's only one. I assume a huge portion of their business in most areas is due to the fact that they are open 24/7. Doesn't seem to be that special of a thing in Vegas. Maybe they will get some business from overflow from the bars in Fremont East, but there's no way I would leave a perfectly good casino, with a restaurant that's open to make a hike down to Denny's.

In n' Out would have been a much better place, wonder if the inability to put a drive-thru in could be a reason they didn't hear our crys. Even a Ruby's Diner would have been a better fit, or Steak n' Shake.

I likely won`t ever eat there either especially with all the food downtown I love and can`t have at home but denny`s is pretty cheap so hopefully it keeps prices lower at the good places.
