I know there's a number of board members heading down in December. Anyone there the week of the 16th?

 

I will be in town from the 19th-23rd at Venetian and Mirage on a solo trip.

 

I'll be there the 16th - 19th; staying at the Orleans.

Lets all meet for HAPPY HOUR!

I will be staying at the Paris Hotel from Dec. 17th - 19th for 3 nights.
I will be going solo and I love to go to the NewYork, NewYork for their
HAPPY HOUR at their Times Square Bar. They have great live music
and it is a lot of fun to also eat dinner there.

We can meet on TUESDAY, Dec. 18th, between 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
for Happy Hour. I truly love going there and I always have a lot of fun.
The drinks and food are 50% off and the food is delicious.
There are also lots of good places to eat dinner at the NYNY Hotel.

We can identify ourselves by wearing Madi Gras beads. There is a Madi Gras bead vendor stand right near the Times Square Bar.

We can also set up a second time to meet at some other place like the
"Mon Ami Abi" restaurant at the Paris Hotel for lunch time.

Does anybody have other ideas on where to meet? LucyR.

 

We will be at the Paris 12/11 thru 12/16, Caesar's Palace 12/16-12/20, and Luxor the night of the 20th.

 

This sounds like it might work. Any other suggestions or preferences from anyone who's going to be there that week?

 

I have another idea for a meeting place

We could all meet on Wed. Dec. 5th at the Flamingo Habitat to see the
beautiful birds and fish and then we all can go someplace for dinner.
We could meet at 4p.m. before it gets dark for the night so we can all enjoy seeing the Flamingos.

No real preference. We'll try to come wherever it ends up being as long as it doesn't conflict with a reservation. We haven't set our schedule for shows and such yet other than we have Bally's Brunch 12/16 at 11 am and Gordon Ramsay steak on 12/12 at 9:30 pm for dinner.

 

I actually have a set of Vegas themed Mardi Gras beads. Will have to pull them out. ;-)

 

I could do Tuesday at Times Square Bar; sounds fun!

 

Ms. Gecko, Vern the Turtle (who always wears beads), and I will be in Vegas 18-25, first two nights at Gold Coast, 3 at Sam's Town, and final 2 at Suncoast. Time's Square sounds semi convenient depending on day and time. Have to fit Ellis Island into the equation.

NYNY so more people can join us.

I love going to the Happy Hour every afternoon or evening at the Times Square Bar. So we can have two meetings. In the evenings they have
dueling PIANO PLAYERS that are a lot of fun to sing along with and also dance.
During Happy Hour there is an entertainer that plays the sax and sings and dances. We all join in on the fun and sing along too. LucyR.

who lived there and I went to visit him. I discovered Tim Horton Donuts.

I have relatives in Atlanta, Ga. I also love watching the "Atlanta Housewives
t.v. reality show".

I am also looking foreward to meeting a compatiable person to hang out with at times in Vegas. I am a very sociable person who goes to Vegas
often and I know how to get around Vegas. I know how to take the bus
everywhere. I know where all the elevators are located.lol.

I plan to buy me the 24 hour Buffet Pass for $45.99. It is good at approx.
6 different hotels. You can eat as many times as you want. I only eat the
3 main meals for the day and breakfast the next morning. I don't eat much but this is a great deal for the price. LucyR.

 

LucyR: the 19th is a distinct possibility depending on time and whatever dinner plans we might make. We usually try to hit up Ellis Island around 3 to allow an hour of quality time at the bar before the BBQ area opens, but could possibly go there later if we can still walk! then again, maybe we'll go to EI on Tuesday. Decisions - decisions. Oh, Ms. Gecko and I don't sing, but Vern might be interested.

 

Hi EveryBody!

My Vegas friend called me up last night. He said that Bill's Gamblin Hotel
will close on Feb. 4th. It is going to be renovated to look totally different.
Plus, it will get a new name.

I will be on a cruise from Dec. 3rd and return on Dec. 7th.

I am looking foreward to communicating to all of you when I return.

I booked Ballys well over a month ago for 12/18 to 12/24 ($85) total but waited for Southwest to drop prices. Today booked for under $200.00 round trip from Pittsburgh:evillaugh. So if anyone is meeting up add me to the list, traveling solo this trip.
