I'll be in Vegas December 11 to 14. Should be in before 9:00am on Tuesday. Leave Friday morning. I'm staying at Treasure Island. Strip View room. Will anyone else be in Vegas at that time?

I'll be in town with a few friends from the 8th through the 12th - so if it's in the cards could possibly meet up on the 11th before we leave that next morn!

The 11th isn't planned out completely. I plan on eating at Treasure Island's buffet for breakfast after I check in. I plan on eating at Hooters for dinner. Between those meals I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I am planning on going to Fremont after dinner.

    Hi,

I will also be there December 11-14; staying first night at Bally's and then over to Monte Carlo.

Almost everything in Vegas involves drinks!!!:drunk::thumbsup:

I'm planning on eating dinner at Hooters on Tuesday (11th), dinner at Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood on Wednesday (12th), & dinner at Lagasse Stadium at the Palazzo on Thursday. I have a show to go to on Thursday night at the Luxor (take a wild guess!!!). I'll try to finalize other plans within the next few days.

I would hope so!! Can't ever assume since there's people that goto Vegas and don't drink much. hah I'm guessing you're watching Fantasy at Luxor? I'm staying at PH Tues and Wed night then moving somewhere else Thurs night, not sure yet.. Dining plans call for Fix and Society probably plus something else. Might have to catch a drink at PH when you're swinging through on Wed.

Yeah, I've been to Vegas five times & have not had one alcoholic drink. Yup, I'm seeing Fantasy. Favorite show!!! I'd imagine I'll get to Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood at 6pm (give or take) on Wednesday.

Food for thought: My choices for eating in Vegas next week: Tuesday 1) Treasure Island's buffet for breakfast. 2) Hooters for dinner. Wednesday 1) Caesars Palace's Bacchanal Buffet for breakfast. 2) Cabo Wabo at Planet Hollywood for dinner. Thursday 1) Wynn's buffet for breakfast. 2) Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo for dinner. Friday 1) Cinnabon (I think) at McCarran airport. Not sure when exactly I'll get to each place. If any can/wants to meet at these places, let me know.

I think that's more meals than I might eat in staying in Vegas for a week or more! :)

Have you considered some of the fine dining restaurants available at some of the hotels?

I actually come to Vegas looking forward to eating at certain restaurants at times. (Arriving on Sat and already excited for dinner when I arrive ;))

I'm only eating twice a day. (tues-thurs) I'm not really a "fine" dining type of person. I'm not refined.

I know you have Cabo Wabo on the agenda but to be honest, I went there in their 1st year of opening and it wasn't memorable. (from the service to the food) Pretty much the same consensus from others I know that have gone there. If you're just wanting to go there it may be wise to get a rita at the bar so you can cross it off your list as that you've gone. lol Yolo's at PH is a heck of a lot better!

The reason I'm wanting to go there is because it serves Mexican food. I try to fit in Mexican food into my trips now. I've done that on two recent trips to Vegas. Diablo's Cantina one trip and T&T my last trip. Is there a better Mexican place I should try?

I hear ya... Yolo's in PH would be my first suggestion, which i've already suggested. I also like Taqueria Canonita in the Grand Canal Shoppes at Venetian. Other mexican options include Diego's at MGM, Border Grill at Mandalay, Gonzalez y Gonzales inside NYNY and La Salsa Cantina inside Miracle Mile. I'm sure there's a few places i'm missing.

Xman if you're going to be downtown I'd love to meet up there. I'll be staying downtown from Dec 9 to Dec 13. I don't plan on hitting the Strip, but instead smaller casinos and niche restaurants.

Let me know if that works for (or anyone else in town during that time).

    Cheers.

I'm planning on going to Fremont on Tuesday night (the 11th). Not sure what my exact timing will be, but if I were to guess, it would be around 7pm. Probably stay there til 11, 11:30.

I've decided to stick with my original idea for food. You can read my selection a few posts back.

I'm at Wynn's Buffet right now. Very nice. Good food. Going to the Bellagio after I'm done eating.
