What would the job opportunity for a young person with a computer networking degree and 2 years experience be?

Check the job listings on casino websites. Every casino company has an IT department, and they're always looking for talented people. I saw a job listing just the other day, as a matter of fact, on the Station Casinos website (sclv.com) for the IT department at Stations corporate offices.

I think the IT department at Community College of Southern Nevada is still outsourced (I think the outsource company is called Ellucian now.) I worked for the outsource company at a different location before, was decent, they seem to do more entry level hiring than a lot of other places, which is probably good for you.

I don't see any open positions right now, but it looks like you can put in a resume anyway http://www.ellucian.com/Careers/

There are usually quite a few entry level (low pay) I.T. positions available at casinos.
