For us 'boomers', the Doobies always offer one hot night of favorite
    songs, great entertainment and memories.
They played 2 nights at the Las Vegas Hotel (former LVHilton) AND THEY ROCKED!
I think the whole front section were fans from the night before goin' round for a
second hit. The band recognized lots of folks in the crowd which made for even more
    of a good time...it was a party.

These guys have never sounded better. The harmonies are tight, the band is tight,
the crowd loves 'em and they played and played.

They have new chairs in the theater too! I don't think the others had been changed
since ELVIS rocked the joint...The new ones are much more comfy and a bit
    more leg room too!

The Doobie Brothers play Vegas from time to time, keep an eye out and catch 'em
    if they're your...thang! GREAT SHOW.

Thanks for the review Greg! I mentioned I saw them at the Orleans a few years ago and they ROCKED the house! Great show, just proves that some things do get better with time, in addition to you and me.

Man! I missed them again. The wife and I, both baby boomers from the 60's have been looking for them to play a concert near us but never successful. A Vegas stint would be great. Greg, do you know if/when another Doobie may happen again? Thanks a bunch for the info!

Hey Sam, just check in at the LVH website from time to time
for the Vegas dates or...their website and tour schedule.

I think without Michael McDonald as lead singer....anyway for concert entertainment shows a site I find very useful is pollstar.com You can type your city a band a venue etc. Try it you'll like it.

Thanks Greg, yes I will. Finally coming to Vegas in April from a year and a half hiatus due to wife's health issues. Looking way forward to this trip.

You're right Ron, Michael isn't there any more but...that's okay, he didn't
carry that many vocals any way. I was surprised they can still do his
Takin' It To The Streets'...sounded great and they all shared the lead vocal.

And Sam, if you haven't found it already, the new address is...www.thelvh.com
