Im running the marathon again this year and i want to be a little more prepared afterwards. Last year it was nearly impossible to find a decent bite to eat because everything was either closed or the wait was ridiculous. I thought maybe after cleaning up my husband and i could sit down to a nice celebratory meal.

Are there any places you would recommend on the strip where i could make reservations at around 10pm on a Sunday night?

I just did a cruise by, picking a date in Dec that's a Sunday night and came up w/these around 10pm:

    Zeffirino at Venetian/Palazzo
    Sushi Roku at CP
    Kokomos at the Mirage

If you can go 30 mins earlier, these popped up too:
Mastro's Ocean Club at City Centre
    Fiamma at MGM Grand
    Shibuya at MGM Grand

    Hope that helps!

Funny, I'm the exact opposite after the marathon. Food is last thing on my mind. Last year, I was content to head back to room and soak in the tub. The gel packs on the course more than fill me up.

If you are looking for a good steak dinner, Try Smith and Wollensky's (on the strip between the walgreens and MGM grand). I just went late on a Sunday night recently. I think they will take a reservation as late at 10:30 on a sunday night and will stay open if you are a little on the late side.

Also, I'm a big fan of the Wolfgang Puck restaurant at MGM grand for a later sit down meal (a reservation shouldnt be necessary but if there is a concert that night it does get a little packed with the people coming out of the show around that time and you might have a half hour wait).
