It's an odd request I know but does anyone know which hotels have rooms with a spa tub that's not in the bathroom, but in the living area? So far through general research I know about the "suites" at the NYNY, Monte Carlo, and Luxor, are there any others? Thanks.

Not sure what you call the Luv Tub at the IP, but those tubs are in the room there.

The panoramic suite at PH has a tub that's in the bathroom but right next it is a huge sliding door that opens up and you can look out into the living room/view of the strip.

The Elara by Hilton? Looks nice, thanks for the suggestion. Ballys was also a good find.

I put up a post the other day about what were the suites like at Monte Carlo. Someone was nice enough to reply that their spa suites have just what you are describing.:peace:

Excal also has tubs in the corners of some rooms, the one we had overlooked the Strip.

Tropicana used to have big ass hot tubs in the rooms, not sure since the remodel.

Hmm... why is it an odd request?

As you are finding through responses in this thread: they are called "Spa Suites" and almost every hotel on The Strip has them, though a few of them you can't just book through their website and have to phone the hotel to get a rate and check availability. And its not an odd request because most major hotels in every city, not just Las Vegas, have them and the spa tub is almost always in the living room.

this is not an odd request....As long as "spa tub not in the bathroom" doesn't include circus performers and/or circus animals....

Hrng didn't know that, so you're saying these rooms may not even be listed on the website? Ive seen a lot of rooms with the spa tub in the bathroom and sometimes its hard to make out from the official description/pictures. Someone asked me to book such a room for their bachlorette party so I thought I'd hit up the board for ideas. I didn't know having a living room tub was so common. Thanks.

Two additional spots that I thought of. Hooters (not on the Strip) and Stratosphere also have them in the room.

When I was married at Caesar's Palace, we had one. I don't remember what the name of the room was though but they definetly have one.
