I booked a trip to Aria for 2 days. I plan to play baccarat for 5-7 hours per day totaling 10-14 hours for the trip. I plan to play approximately 40-50 hands per hour. How much would I need to wager to receive $150 in express comps? I wanted to play $100-200 dollars per hand, depending on how my streak is going.

Before the change in the formula, I calculated a session at craps and it worked out to be $0.001 in Express Comps for each dollar bet.

So I would expect it to now be $0.0005 per dollar bet.

$150 in Express Comps would work out to $300,000 bet, but that's using a craps HA estimate of 1.5%. And that amount of ECs would work to be 5% of your theo.

If you want to use 1% as the HA for bacc, it'd be $0.000335 per dollar bet. So it would take about $450,000.

If you got rated at $100 a hand for 40 hands for 10 hours, I'd expect you to get about $13.40 in Express Comps.

If you got rated at $200 a hand for 50 hands for 14 hours, I'd expect you to get about $46.90 in Express Comps.

But bacc rating is a bit of a different animal.

Sorry.... but this is going down a bad road. If you want $150 to eat food, just play one less hand.

these days it's way harder to earn $150 ECs than it used to be. just to give you an idea, last weekend i had $21k theo ($5500 avg bet for 5 hours) and got $1100 in ECs. you'll earn about 1/25 of your avg bet every hour. so at $150 avg that's $6 per hour. that's a lot of time to rack up $150.

I'd suggest just charging the food a d whatnot to your room and not worry about express comps since the comps are now mainly going to the primary side and not the express comp side.

And, do you still have any left from one of your previous trips?

And... you could find one of the folks here with thousands of dollars worth of EXs and get them to buy you dinner.

Did not seem to earn nearly as many points as I did in previous trips. Guess I have to win next trip. :)

Also, if hosts are going to attack the ECs first you might as well just use up your ECs freely during your trip.
