Will I be charged extra if I don't check in after booking and air/hotel package?

    So, with at least one airline, it's actually a decent amount cheaper to book a vacation package (flight + 3 nights hotel) than to book the flight alone. Since I'm comped at a better hotel than the hotel that comes with the vacation package, will I get charged some extra fee or something by the package hotel when I don't show up? Of course, I specifically chose a hotel without resort fees.

    No. I have done it many times, and never been charged. Normally the hotel does not even get your billing info.

    I've booked this way a couple of times. I checked in then went to the room to grab the shampoo/lotion/conditioner and stationary set.
