Nothing special, but it was very nice to see this email in my inbox today. Excalibur offered me 3 complimentary nights in a tower room and $50 freeplay. Doesn't seem to be a restriction on which days, just an expiration date.

Again, nothing special, but considering I don't play at ALL for comps and only have half a dozen trips to Vegas under my belt (the first few without much play at all), it's nice to know that I'm appreciated and recognized as a customer even though I'm a very low roller. Up until this recent trip in August/September, I always played there because they offered 9/6 DDB and stayed there once with a nice room for the price. I was sad to see the 9/6 go away this trip but I still gave them a little play just to stay on their radar (I'm talking VERY little play).

The only downside to the offer is that I'm moving in January so I won't be able to take advantage of it before it expires. Hopefully I'll get another one early/mid next year that I can do something with.

The 9-6 DDB is gone totally from Excal?

    Sorry to derail your thread.

I should have specified I'm talking about $0.25 9/6 DDB. $1 is too rich for my blood most of the time (to give you an idea of how low-roller I am in terms of appreciating an offer for free nights). I searched high and low for it to no avail, nothing but 7/5 on the $0.25. I also contacted the VPfree2 site admin and they sent someone to check it out while I was there. No more 9-6 DDB. My trip was 8/30/12 to 9/10/12 for reference.

I always used to play there specifically because it was some of the only 9/6 on the strip, and the only 9/6 that offered any real comps worth going for (Casino Royale also has 9/6 DDB $0.25 - my wife and I got some free Ben and Jerry's out of it, along with a lot of free/cheap drinks haha).

Hooters had 9-6 DDB at 25c as of about a year ago. It wasn't listed on VPFree, but I played it there in 2011. Might be worth a look since it's in the same neighborhood as your comp.

Congrats on your first room offer!

Thanks! I'll do that next time out! Always keeping an eye out for 9/6 or 10/6 DDB on or off the Strip.

    Got mine through last week.

After 1 4 night stay in NYNY in March 2012 I received a 2 night stay in a deluxe room with $25 free play.

No contact from a host or anything like that but a good start. I live in the UK, and am not a frequent visit- my next trip is 2014. Am thinking about contacting a host to try and keep myself on the radar.
