which casino do you recommend for low value slots ,in other words which casino has the most of these for the light gambler!
which 4 star hotel for low gambling table for texas hold`em.
any other advice which casino for the gambler who wants to have fun rather than bet and lose a fortune.

Sorry, 4 star and these requirements are opposites.

    LOL!

Okay, back to the question... 4 star is a loose term in Vegas. But, some of the hotels like Flamingo, Harrahs will have some lower limit stuff. If you are looking for Poker stuff, try to POKER area here.

What is the relevance of the 4 star hotel when it comes to the casino? Are you saying you only want to play in the casinos of 4 star hotels, but not 5 star or 3 star?

All casinos have penny slots and lots of them!

Are you interested in poker rooms? Limit or no-limit? I'm confused. :peace:

Ok allow me to clarify , want a nice hotel going for 9 nine days getting married so a nice 4 star hotel warranted.
want to do most of the gambling where we are located ,but want a good mixture of slots from 25c upwards , a few poker tables $4 $6 limit .

I can answer this one -- because there are a ton of answers. Almost all the '4 star' hotels have what you are looking for. Because the things you want are some of the most common things in all of Vegas. Slots at the level you want are everywhere, and there are tons of poker rooms that spread either 2-4 limit or 3-6 limit.

The catch is, you're going to find a huge range of what '4 star' means. I've seen people call the Luxor '4 star' (it's not. I don't care what anyone says, I will not debate this.)

So with 9 days, I think you need to be more specific about where on the scale of 4 star hotels you want to be...because the range is huge.

What's your hotel budget? Are you looking for a suite or a standard room?

If you wanted a nice place, I'd be looking at something like Mirage or MGM...maybe Mandalay Bay if location isn't important to you. All 3 of those are definitely in the 4 star range, and nice places to spend a week. MGM and Mirage certainly have the better poker rooms, and probably are two of the better places to play at the level you want.

good question Mike ,i will explain as clearly as possible .
a "lesser" hotel we can afford a suite ,possibly a signature hotel a standard room.
    i suppose 9 nights £1200 is our budget $1800-$1900.
to be honest the best suite possibly for the money , not The Venetian though .
    doesn`t matter if it`s 3 ,4 ,5 star best room for the money .

For 9 days, it doesn't really matter as much as you'd think. Since it's unlikely you'll stay in one casino for the full nine days, feel free to explore the whole Strip. Go to a different casino every day and find out for yourself which one you like the best.

Yes, do two hotels. Just to get a different feel. Maybe one up near Mirage.Harrahs area.

    Other down at NYNY/Mbay/MGM

It depends on when you're going. If you are going in Nov - Dec - Jan, you can get a room at any 4 star hotel on the Strip for that price and a few 5 stars as well. And since you can go gamble anywhere on the Strip (it doesn't sound like you'll be gambling enough for a room comp), it doesn't matter so much if the casino at your hotel has exactly what you want.

In the four star range, I'd take a look at Mirage, Mandalay Bay/THEhotel, Paris. If you want a little cheaper or to get a bigger suite, then Monte Carlo, NYNY, or Luxor. MGM Grand is also a decent option, but every time I go there, they've got stuff blocked off or closed for renovation.

Venetian/Palazzo is also a pretty good 5-star option that may fit within your budget.

I definitely agree with this suggestion. Moving once during a 9 day trip won't be intrusive, and it'll actually feel like two different vacations in a way.

However, make sure you move UP. That is, book the cheaper, less nice room for the first half, then a nicer hotel or suite for the last few days. Moving down in quality sucks!

    Okay, now we're talking!

I would look for a nice room in a mid tier property. I would NOT go to NYNY because their low end suites are not nearly up to par. You could get a very nice suite at the MGM for that price. That's probably what I would do, personally. Really, there are so many great choices at that price that it's hard to pick just one. Mirage, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo...all in your price range.

Basically anything except Aria, Wynn and Bellagio, which will come in too high for your price (and are all '5 star' anyway)
