We had to change our trip to late Nov so have a little longer to plan. We are staying at CP but open to any - but So here are some recommendations we need:

1 nice Anniversary restaurant any cuisine is good, maybe a great view, was considering top of the world or Alize? Any other suggestions...? Budget for 2 people with wine, 250.

Some Italian restaurant suggestions - have done Lavo and enjoyed it. Was considering Rao's. Buget 115 for 2.

    A few good breakfast suggestions...

Any other suggestions in the 115 range for 2 people would be great as well!

    Any good Restaurant.com suggestions?

As far as Italian goes,Nora's on Flamingo has very good food. It's approximately 1 mile west of the Rio on the same side of the street.

    Binion's Steakhouse

This steakhouse is located on the 24th floor of Binion's Hotel, downtown. Nice atmosphere and dinner for two should come under your budget. It's great old-school Vegas feeling, with starched white tablecloths, mostly male waitstaff and above-average food and service.

Check it out and report back if you do, k?

Good luck choosing - lauren in TX

I was really disappointed with Rao's. Instead, I suggest Circo at Bellagio. Superior eats, service and view. If you want something more casual check out D.O.C.G. at Cosmo. I enjoy Scarpetta, as well.

Alize is good, but I prefer Andre's menu. The view from Alize is stellar, though. Nove has a similar view, tasty Italian there too.

I haven't been but at Caesars I'd like to try Payard or Max Brenner for breakfast or lunch.

    For Italian,
    1.Sirio at Aria
    2.Nove at the Palms
    3.Fiamma at MGM
Sirio is the same owner as Circo in Bellagio.

Bacio @ Tropicana is another solid option for Italian. If you ordered from the full menu you could brush up against your price limit, but from 5-6:30pm they have a prix fixe menu for $33.

These are all places I've actually used certificates at and enjoyed my meal:

    For casual Italian, Otto
For seafood, RM Seafood (we did lunch to make it a bit cheaper)
For breakfast, Hash House a Go Go
    For burgers, Stripburger

We have a ton of certificates to use this coming trip, and I'm looking forward to possibly trying First, Border Grill, and Valentino.

Casa Di Amore ( its off strip but will pick ya up).
Bootlegger ( Somewhat south of the strip).

I state with a qualifier...For the TOTAL experience MAYBE Batitsta's. Its not for everyone.. ya either love it or hate it. I Love it.

Wow I missed the Andre's Travelzoo offer!! Seems to be over!?

Has anyone tried Top of the World, or Mix? There are Restaurant.com cards for those and might be good?

How about Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris? Anyone tried?

Mix is a stunning restaurant, just beautiful. The food is good, but not terribly memorable or special. I haven't been to Top of the World for comparison.

I was disappointed by Gordon Ramsay. For the price, I expected a flawless meal. The steak, potatoes and tuna starter were delicious, but everything else short of the coffee at the end fell flat. Loud atmosphere too.

Sinatra in Encore has been consistently excellent for me. It falls in line with your budget too, more or less.

I really like Joe's Stone Crab. I know you said no seafood for your friend. But you can have seafood if you want it. They have a surprisingly good steak for your friend.
I also really liked Beso at Aria if its still there.
STK had also been recommended to me by a couple of people. I hated it. The food was very mediocre the service was too rushed. For what it was it was too expensive. I'd never go back.

Alize for the great view. VooDoo @ Rio also affords a great view. Andre's @ Monte Carlo is my go-to French restaurant in LV -- many anniversary meals there. Oscar's Steak @ Plaza also gets you a FSE view with a widow table

I will say that MIX is awesome. The food is average at best, but you really can't beat the view from up there. Paired with the Restaurant.com card, it's really a pretty good deal at that price.
