Hey there. Just checked out this board last night as someone on the tripadvisor Vegas forum mentioned it.
I've not been to Vegas yet, but I'll be there in four days. I'm super excited, not just for the first taste of what Vegas has to offer, but that at 48, my rediscovered fourth grade sweetheart and I are doing the getting married thing.

Meanwhile, I've immersed myself in a pair of tour books and much web to really learn as much about where we'll be. Neither of us are gamblers, but it's apparent there's so much to Vegas. We're people who like to check out scenes though, so we will go see what the casinos are about.

I booked us at Signature MGM because we think we want a balcony, and I definitely wanted a room with coffee maker and refrigerator. It's a honeymoon, we need to stay hydrated.

I'm going to be doing much reading of these boards and taking in all this additional information in my last days before I go frantic-ness.
I don't know how my job expects much of this Vegas bride-to-be at this time.

Have a great time! My Vegas tips are comfy shoes, lots of water, and always have the tip ready for the cocktail waitress (never touch the tray!). If you are gambling, the drinks are free. I sat next to a lady at a Michael Jackson machine who complained she spent three hundred bucks at the bar the day before while gambling; she had no idea the drinks were free. I've since run into others who did not know this. Yikes! That's one of the best parts!

Congrats on finding love and getting married - all the best to you! :)
