Are taxis usually available in front of Jerry's Nugget during the day, or is it likely I would need to call one? Are any other North Las Vegas casinos within safe walking distance of Jerry's? Trying to figure out a visit to some of the more interesting places l have read about in North Las Vegas...will take a taxi there...and want to figure out how to safely return to Fremont Street area. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I'd suggest you ask a bellman to call a taxi. Not likely they would hang out there -- it's not that kind of place.

And no, there's nothing you can walk to from there.

There is the famous Palomino Strip Club directly across the street. This is club is unique because it is one of the few places in town that are grandfathered in and allow both full nudity AND alcohol.

As for other casinos nearby, you COULD walk to a couple of other casinos but the walk would be long, and not in the best of neighborhoods. I've done it. But I'm a big guy and don't scare to easily.

Its not that far from fremont street so a cab will be there pretty quickly . Not much to walk around to see out there.

The cab driver may not be happy taking you on such a short trip, so be sure to tip him well if he's polite about it, lol.

Thanks all. This info is helpful. Will plan on having a taxi called if needed.
