Does anyone know where the famous show "pawn Stars" is in Vegas. Is it on or near the strip or Freemont Street? Thanks My husband is all about this.

Heading north on the strip it will be on east side (right side) past Sahara but before Freemont. Can't miss it.

Go early. I think they open at 9 or 10, and Ive never waited more than 5 minutes to get in. outside has shade and mister if you go in summer.

One time I rolled up and there was no line outside, no barricades - I thought they were filming and closed but I walked right in, maybe only 5 other customers inside. The line only gets longer and longer as the day goes on.

It's not a short (or pleasant) walk from the strip. You are much better off taking a cab, car or bus. Even from Fremont (which is closer) I would recommend the same. Bring water and expect to be in line anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour. I believe there is a "Pawn Stars Tour" from the strip (Bally's?) that goes to Gold and Silver as well as a few of the other shops featured in the show. I can't vouch for it, but it might be worth searching on if you're stuck on the strip with no car.

A quick search of the forums will reveal miles of threads and will give you an idea of what you are getting if you go. I have been as many others and although I am a large fan of the TV show, the shop is a major dissapointment.

There was only a few minutes wait the day I went, but once inside it is packed and you "tour" the store in a single file line unable to even stop and really look at the items. The store is now largely comprised of souveniers and tailored more towards the sales of those rather than allowing one to browse freely.

When we went (evening) there was no line. None of the "stars" were there. Not really crowded.

Of the items for sale that I knew the usual prices of, they were on the high side.

Don't let a line deter you from seeing the Pawn Shop......I thought the same thing when we pulled up and seen over 100 people in line....told the bride.....let's park and wait in line...if it doesn't move at a good pace we'll leave.....but we were inside in about 10-12 minutes...the line moves right along....

BTW we got there around noon..........

    Good Luck

I was watching a Vegas Tourism show the other day. You know the ones that have old footage of the Strip and casinos.
I heard a familiar voice on the screen and looked up to see it was Rick with hair! That's how old the video footage was.
In fact they were talking about joining a Players Club and showed The One Club card that was phased out 6 years ago.

Good find! Looks like he's gained a couple of pounds since the picture.

Do you have a link so I can watch it also?

Rick also appeared in the Las Vegas episode of Dave Atell's Insomniac. He's working the night shift, pretty cool stuff, looking back now!

It was on TV. The show was called; Destination America - Vegas - Perhaps?
I Googled his name and found the actual screen grab from his TV appearance.

The show isn't called Destination America - there is an actual tv network that is part of Discovery called Destination America and they have been showing a lot of those old outdated Vegas shows lately. I dvdr'd a few but have not watched them all. They are all about Vegas in one way or another. You can go to the website here and search for the programs and see when they are airing in your area:

I searched and found (destination america) cheating las vegas. Just watched first episode. Cool to see how some of the security works. And how some people try to steal and cheat and then get caught :noangel:

@jr7110 thanks for the info didn't know that. Destination America isn't in their channel list ( http://dsc.discovery.com/our-networks.html ) then again I also thought they had a 3D channel but that isn't in their list aswell.
