Im looking at prices for the basic room in both properties(dec 3-10)

7 nights for 683$ at PH
7 Nights for 301$ at Paris

Im familiar with both 4 stars CET properties , i think both have good buffet ,

Are the rooms really that much better (382$ more) at PH?

Not sure which one is cheaper on your trip (you show it going both ways), but I'd rate the rooms as fairly equivalent. PH rooms are a little larger, decor a little more modern. Paris rooms are a little old school in terms of design, very comfortable, and well maintained.

My experience is that the price varies between the two properties depending on demand for that week. Sometimes PH is higher, sometimes Paris is higher.

    Wow!

When I read the question I was ready to say PH...BUT they aren't $400 nicer!
Actually I prefer Ballys north tower to Paris standard rooms...larger with more neutral decor. Paris rooms feel like grandma's extra bedroom with all the florals.
I'd check out Ballys rates...BUT if it is down to Paris or PH, Paris is fine for that price.

If the price was the same I'd take PH. In your situation, I'd stay at Paris for that much savings. I actually got a better upgrade at Paris in the diamond check in than I did PH.

There is not much difference, and surely not close to $400. Very easy decision.

Keep looking though, as rates that week are pretty nice. I was looking at a few MGM properties for that time frame. Cheap. Not as good as your $43 night at Paris - and no resort fee.

They are very similar in "age" and amenities. I'd go with Paris anyways personally! Haven't been impressed with PH lately. But, I've been enjoying many of the amenities at Paris on my last few trips.

I'd certainly go for Paris. I wouldn't in a million years pay double for Planet Hollywood.

Last time I stayed at PH it was fantastic!! And the room was much larger than the room I had at Paris. The decor is much more modern and everything seems newer. I will say that my favorite part of the PH room was the window blinds/shades...they made the room pitch black and made sleeping in very easy.

But as it has been stated....$400 more is hard to justify

I've stayed in both casino's basic rooms this year and would choose Paris easily.

As mentioned, the rooms are similar, but it's all about location, location, location.
Just love the walkway between Paris and Bally's. The 2 slices and a soda pizza special, Le Burger Brasserie, and no 'porn slappers' between you and Bally's come to mind when I think of the choice between the two.

Trust me there is no 400 buck difference. I could see if that was paris and Aria but the PH is just slightly better than Paris. Go with Paris

No bainer....go with Paris. We've stayed in both and since we are boomers - prefer the vibe at Paris and usually get a Red Room or small suite as a Diamond player. We do enjoy going to PH but there are times when the very young crowd there can be irrating when they have had too much to drink and forget they are not the only ones in the building...lol. If you are a 20 something though...you may enjoy spending a lot of time there.
