I like to spend one night at the Golden Nugget on my trips. I like to get a room in the Rush Tower.

There is a separate casino area there, but I never see anyone playing in that part of the casino...how come?

Probably because I never knew it was there!
Staying there in about 18 days, so I'll stroll on over and check it out!
    THX

I have stayed in Rush Tower twice. THe last time I stayed one of the nights the casino was packed. That was one of the nights the other night all of the tables and machines were gone there was some sort of charity function going on.

My opinion is all you do is walk past the pool and you are in the big casino so why stop.

But for the people in the Rush Tower the 'Rush Casino' (I don't think it is called that) is closer.

I have seen some places where a certain hotel has 2 casinos and it seems to work (harrah's laughlin, Flamingo) but for some reason no one seems to be playing in the Rush Casino - by which I mean not the regular casino.

I wonder if it is too removed from the entrance of Freemont, but then again...why are the patrons of the GN Rush Tower not playing there?

I think most people go and walk around Fremont St casino to casino. There is no way I would gamble at the Rush casino for than a few minutes. No one is gambling there because its only a few more steps to the regular GN casino.
