Booked another Aria stay..

I have another 4 night Aria stay coming up in December. I got a killer deal on a Corner Suite. It will be my first time staying in one, I've stayed in their regular deluxe room 3 previous times however. Anyone stay in the Corner Suite? Likes Dislikes? I've seen a few reviews and it looks promising!

 

The corner suites are very nice. Unfortunately, mine was on the 4th floor, so it had absolutely no view. I wish I had thought to ask about upgrading (it was a comped suite) to like a City View Suite when I checked in. I thought the suite was actually kind of small, but they do have many different layouts. Many I see have a dining table in them - ours didn't. I did like having a separate bedroom with a door that closes. Me and my BF are up at drastically different times, that way I could get up and move around without disturbing him. The extra bathroom came in handy for that too. AWESOME bathroom in the bedroom though. Great bed too.

You will get a workout walking to your room though

 

Love ‘em! There were only two things I didn’t like, and neither may apply to you:

First, every outer wall was covered by floor to ceiling windows. This made for killer views and was very cool. But, those windows let a lot of heat in that the “green” climate control was not able to overcome. Now, this may not be an issue for you – I was there during the summer and it was nearly 110 every day. I’m sure that it is fine during more temperate months. (Edit: I just re-read your post. You'll be there in Dec, so obviously this won't be a concern.)

Second, the Corner Suite I had was truly a “Corner” suite. It was all the way at the end of probably the longest hallway I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. Not a big deal really, but it did get a bit annoying at times (like when I’d get down to the casino and realize that I forgot my player’s card/phone/sunglasses etc.). But, I’m pretty sure that not all Corner Suites are situated in this way. And even if you were to get one of them, you’ll still be fine as long as you don’t have any mobility issues.

I stay in them every 3 months, Love them.
Try for panoramic view, they are best.
Yes as Karen stated low floors still really suck even in that room.
You need the views to enjoy all the windows.
Love that they are away from other rooms down at the end of the hall so very quiet.

 

Smiled when I read this post because I once stayed at Aria in a standard room next to the corner suite and the walk was ridiculous! I thought nothing would ever top the walk at the Grand, but it was a true hike to get to my. Fortunately, I like to walk, so no big deal, but it was annoying the one time I got all the way down to the caisno, only to realize I had left my wallet in the room

 

Love love love the Aria! Staying again in 10 days It never fails, we ALWAYS get a room at the end of the hallway in Vegas. It's always so cold down there too!

 

It is a real suite, vs a fake one. Meaning, there is actually a door between the sitting area and the bedroom.

Great to hear guys and I don't mind the walk. It was a deal through southwest....flying out of midland for 4 nights in one of these suites...flight/tax/room was under the 1K mark. Booked through Aria the room alone without tax is over 33% more than what I paid for with tax/flight/room. I have been in situations where I've had the "I see you didn't request this so..." so I made sure and requested a high floor and strip view for one of these rooms. I'm very excited as I absolutely love the Aria! Thanks for the feedback everyone!

 

Congrats. I'm planning a trip in late November and seriously considering giving Aria a try; I usually stay at Bellagio, but had a great time playing craps at Aria last time.

 

I've had the same experience, the craps action is fantastic at night at the Aria. Same is easily said for the Bellagio though....luckily it's only a tram ride away in either direction! I don't think you will be disappointed with a stay at Aria, I've stayed in their deluxe room 3 times and loved it every time. A trip up to Jean Georges Steakhouse will set your night right *Side note, Aria has the most comfortable beds IMHO in all of Vegas from where I've stayed...Bellagio, Wynn, THEhotel, nicer CP rooms for the nicer properties I've stayed at (surprisingly I've never stayed at Palazzo/Venetian).

 

I honestly thought the craps action was a little better at Aria than Bellagio this time. The tables seemed a lot livelier (and one night at Bellagio included multiple cranky drunks, which didn't help), and the dealers/boxmen were generally a lot friendlier. I still love Bellagio, and am definitely going back to eat at Picasso again, but from everything I've heard here Aria seems worth checking out.

 

I did notice that about the dealers and boxmen at Aria....at my table the night I was there they were younger and typically joined in on conversation and were really friendly. I think you should give Aria a try!

 

they're pretty awesome.

we stayed for 3 nights in August, and were very impressed.
we lucked out and got on room on the...either 34th or 43rd floor, I don't remember which, and had a view out the back half of the building, facing west towards the Rio, Palms, and the mountains beyond, and seeing the sunset one night over the mountains while getting ready for a late dinner was a huge highlight for the g/f and I.

one thing that took a bit to get used to though, was the constant stream of helicopters flying by right outside the window.

 

we are booked there Dec 3-8 panoramic view corner suite again.
And also 7 days comped in corner suite for my 50th bday.

 

Craps Dealers and Box People are way friendlier at Aria than Bellagio.
To me it is one of the most noticeable differences in the casino.
The beds at Aria are the best anywhere!!

 

I just booked a quickie weekend in November - using a corporate email offer I received several weeks ago (immediately prior to our second trip to Aria in a Sky Suite).

When I got the confirmation I realized that the offer was for an "innovative" suite, which apparently is a Corner Suite - rather than a Sky Suite.

Is it just me, or is this a downgraded offer from my previous Sky Suite email offer which I traveled on last trip? We were on the 53rd floor (same room) for our previous trips - very near the elevator coming up from the Sky Suite check-in area... great city view.

I take it that the Corner Suites are not all situated as high as the Sky Suites?

The LONG walk to a Corner Suite would count as a negative in my book!!

Does anyone know what the comp value/difference would be between these two suite types?

 

Just got back tonight from a 3 night stay in a corner suite. Agree with everyone it is a very long walk to your room we were on the 7th
floor with pretty much no view. But still a great room and had a great time. And the beds and pillows are awesome.

 

Other than the walk, it's a great room, good sized refrigerator, media interface panel for hooking up devices, really nice view from the bedroom is a City View Suite.

Bring a couple of large binder clips to clip the blackout curtains together where they meet in the corner of the bedroom - they tend not to close all the way.
