Heading to Vegas tomorrow for a week and we will have a car and plan to do some exploring. We really like diners and I would love to pop into one or 2 while we are out and about. Any suggestions?

I can't offer you any help on a diner, but I couldn't resist posting. We leave tomorrow too!!

I have left work and am now officially on vacation.

Tomorrow we arrive early, lunch at In and Out, shopping, check in and barbeque at Lucille's :licklips:, and blues music for the evening.

Sunday is a spa day and I just booked the ATV Valley of Fire groupon deal for Wednesday.

The rest of the week is not structured, just a list of things to do and places to eat.

    Have fun!!

I guess the Peppermill could kind of be considered a diner - at least it's the closest thing to a diner on/near the strip that I can think of.

Check out Blueberry Hill on Flamingo.

The french toast is so good it doesn't even need syrup!

I've heard good things about Black Bear Diner. We are going to try it next trip.

I enjoyed the grungy old Tiffany Diner north of Stratosphere . Had read about it on Vegas Chatter, and it is much like a truck stop. Run down, sad-looking, and about as homey as you could get. Delicious food, lots of it, and plenty of characters to watch. Wish I got to see when the White Cross drugstore was still in operation next door.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I had heard of the Black Bear but had forgotten the name, so that one is on The list for sure! Blueberry Hill sounds perfect and Tiffany might be worth a look see. The Peppermill has been on my list forever, but from what I have read it sounds like I would like to go for cocktails which I don't do when I drive. joe, both of yours sound good but the menu from the custard one has my mouthwatering and one of my friends loves his ice cream, so that one is a must do!

Allustoms, have a great trip! You are probably on your way already. We have a late flight & I am just dying to get this show on the road!
