Can anyone tell me approx. how much play (dollars in) a slot machine, to get the 700 points needed for a comped seafood buffet. And is the buffet any good? Thx.
The usual rate at M Resort is $1 = 1 point. But if you are player's club member, weekends are 5X points on slots and 2X points on VP. The buffet is not good, it is excellent. It is usually rated one of the best in town. Lots of variety, great desserts and free beer and wine are included in the price.
I agree. The buffet is excellent. Be sure to save room for dessert. It is $1 coin in = 1 point. The multiplier points don't count towards the free buffets though.
As a M Resort veteran of 6 or 7 stays.... Everything stated above is correct. Saturday is crab legs as well...which for some is important. You should also note that if you join their rewards that they also give you a free buffet pass monthly as well. So you can earn one and use the mailout one as well to double up... Also - the amount of points you need depends on the time of day/week you go. Weekday lunch is much less points in than saturday night!
Don't forget the espresso bar, they'll throw some booze in there for ya too for free. Beer is on tap, sort of hidden around the corner from the bread area. Lines can get long.
Not for me - hence the comment. Had food posioning 10 years ago thanks to shellfish and now even the smell of it almost makes me ill....shrimp is the only thing I can eat. Funny how losing 15 lbs in 3 days will do that to a person....
They are awesome - after gorging myself I find that a double espresso and a lemon sorbet gets me ready t go back to the casino every time!
$1 = 1 point?? That's crazy. It's $5 = 1 point for CET :/ I'm only sticking with CET because I live by Tahoe and there's Harveys/Harrahs owned by CET. The abysmal $5=1RC and very stingy credits at table games suck
As noted above, only base points count for free buffet offer. Multipliers are not included. But you keep your points! http://www.themresort.com/rewards/free-buffet.html
I'm not sure of what the exact numbers were, but I remember on this last trip a sign that said, "get this many points to earn a buffet comp". I played 25cent (meaning $1.25/hand) video poker at the bar for an hour and earned enough for the comp. Mind you I was playing just about as fast as possible, but still it was only an hour. Oh, I lost $100 in that hour doing that.
