As a fan of horror movies and getting a good scare, I find this whole concept a bit intriguing. My next trip will be in December, so I will be interested to hear reviews of it once it opens. VIP tickets online are $60 a person, which seems a bit steep for what seems to me to be an elaborate haunted house trip.

I am wondering what sort of rumours have people heard about this place, or predictions they have? Is it the sort of thing you are supposed to spend a big chunk of your day at, or just an hour? Anyone else think that they will do a Groupon in the first couple of weeks? Are advance sales strong or sluggish? Will this thing be a big hit or a wet firecracker?

I hope to survive a visit to Goretorium in November. A good friend of mine
will be working the ticket booth there and she's really siked about it.
www.vegaschatter.com has been following it pretty good...their updates
go off 'n on. And there's always www.goretorium.com

I'll be there the weekend before Halloween. I'm sure it'll be packed that weekend but want to check it out.

I just watched the promo clip for it (set in a barber shop) and got quite queasy. So, it should be effective at what it sets out to do. Hoping to see it next month, along with the Screamont attraction downtown.

Remember to grab one of those in-flight
barf bags when you come in Sam...
If that harmless little video made you queasy,
my my my...what ya gonna do at the real thing!
On the other hand...I'd be careful at Goretorium...
that guy in the video just asked for "a little off the top please"

I worked in local haunted houses for a bit and had some friends that continued to and have done so for 20+ years. One of the guys was actually hired on for the Goretorium, a friend of his is in charge of actors/live side entertainment and convinced him to move out to Las Vegas, my guess is it's going to feel a bit short, but really well done. The $40 price point ($35 if purchased online) is a bit steep, but considering yearly attractions here in Ohio are going for $20-$25 probably not as bad as it seems.

One day until the opening. I am really interested in hearing some honest reviews from anyone that goes there in its opening days.

    There's more today in www.vegaschatter.com
This place...fun as it looks, is going to be expensive if you
want to catch all the various 'gags' they offer...3,4 visits
to see everything because of the way you navigate to
event. They need a multi-visit price.

I saw some pics yesterday on USA Today. It looked like it was done very well and like it was gonna be a lot of fun. The story said they were going to have a webcam inside the maze and you could set at the bar and have drinks and watch all the people try to navigate through it. That sounded like a fun way to kill some time.
If anyone goes today please post a review. We are going to be there in two weeks and i swear I think my wife is more excited about this part of the trip than any other part.
