Fremont Sept18-22

Well 1st trip report here so If ya like it good--If ya don't who cares...

Caught flight from Chi-Midway at 6:20pm non-stop,,,Plane was the 737-800 which my gf commented it seems so long ,,It was a big plane

Anyways flight was supposed to be full but I could see prob a seat here and here and there so cancellations etc ,,Guess I'll never know..

I had asked earlier on this great site about taking small bottles of booze on and decided since her father gave us a shitload of them we would take some,,I put 6 in a Quart bag and she did same..No problems getting through TSA so I was happy and decided to wait to drink on plane as I wanted to people watch for awhile...Some strange birds on this flight but hey I could be strange in their eyes so I won't badger...I would just say I'm glad I look in the mirror before I go out in public..

As flight was at 10,000 feet or higher we were able to get drink service so we both ordered Full cans of coke with a extra cup of ice...My ist drink of Whiskey was so good I had another and another etc...It was most fun ever on a flight for some reason as we just didn't care ..Fully relaxed and waiting to land..

We arrived at McCarran International Airport right on time and since we did check some bags in we proceeded to baggage pick up and etc...

I decided after getting our bags to take the Wax and it seems a asian lady very nice I might say came up 2 us and asked if we had ride tickets yet and I mentioned not yet and she said good cause she had 2 extra for us 2 use..I didn't ask where or why but all I remembered was she worked inside somewhere and said they would go to waste if they were not used soon---So we said thanks and boarded the Bus and was met by a very jolly guy named Razor..What a trip this guy was as he made us feel comfortable 1st 3 minutes into trip to The Fremont..I will ride this again just because of how good this guy made us 2 feel..Ride to The Fremont was nice and uneventful..

OK CHECKING IN --Place was hopping as usual and soon as we turned corner to go to lobby we were greeted with oh my the Indiana group is back,,Which always makes ya feel good when a casino or etc remembers ya..I saw Lydia and that all was needed to be put in quickly in my room and etc...I love this place...

Our play was mostly video poker most everywhere we went..Main Street,,,The D ,,California,,Four Queens etc..Never got to the El Cortez or Golden Spike but hey maybe next time

I took the advice of dewey089 and Joe and played alot at the Boars Head and truly enjoyed the Black porter and the fast friendly service..I made that my drink of choice daily when we were there,,,Thanks for the tips guys..

I did play some heavy roulette and won a few 1000 but nothing to be proud of ...She doesn't like it so I mostly played while she was on her vp machines later in night..

Food was very good as usual and I'm sure I gained a few pounds with all the steak and etc I was eating..Something about Main street stations buffet just makes ya want to keep getting seconds,thirds and fourths..

Most everyday was using my connection at The Golden Nugget to lounge and drink around the pool..I'm sure I drank enough for 3 people but same token I was generous with the people sitting by us and supplied them with non stop drinks ..My bar tab by pool averaged 450 a day out there not including tip..I just like fun people and my father once told son ya can't take it with ya and I live by that rule still to this day...And he's been gone 25 years..Anyways..

I could go on forever but I'll stop here while I'm waiting for my pics to be developed so I can post some ...

All in all it was a fun trip like usual ,,Didn't really win anything to be exhilarating about but hey Life is good

Great trip report! I loved your getting the little bottles aboard the plane and the bus story as well. Glad you like the Boars Head and that all worked out. I'm bet you are planning your next trip already.
