Are there any sportsbook/hotels in Vegas that give free drinks if you have a bet ticket? I plan to bet on football in a few weeks.

The Gold Coast gives one drink ticket per $20 sports bet. and one ticket per $6 Horse race ticket. The Rio was free drinks without betting until the middle of June of this year. They are now one drink ticket for a $20 sports bet and one ticket for a $10 Horse race ticket. These are the only two books ive been in last five years I look forward to seeing other posts for other casinos.

If it was your house and you were paying for all the booze, how many strangers would you allow in to drink it?

Now imagine that the bank is breathing down your neck along with the board of directors to cut your expenses at every corner.

Now how many free drinks will you give to strangers?

Whenever you're in a race and sports book, always go to the same ticket writer. He/she will know that you made more than one bet and is more likely to give you more drink tickets when you ask.

Another thing I do is to always leave the change as a little toke. It's amazing what those two things can do.

Oh, one more thing, don't go to the prettiest ticket writer. Go to one of the average looking females, they appreciate those things more. :evillaugh

Which cashier you use makes a huge difference with drink tickets, as does their mood.In August at aria, one morning I place about $2k worth of bets and the cashier pushes four drink tickets my way without my saying a word. The next afternoon, I place about $3k of bets with a different cashier and he only gives me one ticket and only after I asked for it

So true, on our last trip I walked away with 3 tix after placing my bets at Flamingo. My buddy walked away with zero, I had to take him back up to the cashier and ask for his.

My favorite book for drinks in NYNY, they dont play the ticket game, its a tiny book, so the waitress just keeps em comin!

True at NYNY -- but you do have to tip her or you may never see her again in that out of the way space.

Does the Mirage still hand out tickets for $5 horse bets? I haven't been there since 2010, but used to just bet $2 across the board on some 8/5 favorite in addition to my sports bets. Win = $1/$2 profit. Place = my beer costs $1. Show = my beer still cheaper than buying one at the bar. Finish out of the money = tough luck, but unusual and offset by the fact that sometimes the person taking my bet would peel off two or three tickets w/o seeming to care much.
