Top 5 Las Vegas buffets

Sincei i havent done 1,4, or 5 cant comment there. Bellagio then Wynn for me.But have been seeing that people are absolutley trashing Bellagio's.

 

I really liked Bellagio's buffet the first time I went, was a little disappointed the second, and decided I wouldn't go back after the third as it got even worse. Never tried Wynn's, hardly make it down that far unless we are going there specifically. We always eat at the M's buffet every trip. While I'm not a big buffet person, the M's buffet is pretty good and never disappoints. We are looking forward to trying Caesar's new buffet this next trip.

 

The Sterling Brunch at Bally's served only on Sundays blows all of them away.....

For that price i can get a VERY good sit down meal.

 

But not with UNLIMITED top notch champagne......and all you can eat....

We were also a bit skepital about going and now can't wait to go back....it was our BEST meal ever in Vegas and we ate a most MGM Grand restaurants plus others on the strip....only bad part is it's only available on Sunday's and most times we arrive on Sun or Monday....but last year we arrived on a Friday and made it our Easter Sunday Brunch....next April we are arriving on Easter Sunday and are considering it, but it might be too rushed by the time we settle in since it's only 9am to 2pm....but were still going to try to squeeze it in.

 

Leaving the champagne out of it....

My son and I recently ate for five days in Vegas for less than the cost of two Bally's sterling brunches!

 

Its true..but, when you factor in the champagne, which would cost you up to $40/btl in a liquor store, and the variety of food, it would take you several sit down meals in nice restaurants to try that many selections. I wouldn't do Sterling often, but I am very glad I did it once.

 

And we can eat at home for a year on what we have for a gaming budget for one trip. So what? The point of Vegas is to indulge yourself.

 

Or, if using coupons, I could Red Rock Buffet for every meal for a week, and probably come out ahead....well, ahead in the $$$ anyways...

 

Not all of us can afford that much indulgence. Just sayin'....

 

Putting this as gently and kindly as I can.....nobody should feel they have to justify their spending....indulgence or not. Just sayin'

 

I wasn't telling anyone how to spend their money only that the sterling brunch is out of MY price range, that's all.

 

YES, you're right.........We could also eat from the McDonald's DOLLAR Menu all week and save a LOT of money....but that's not why we go to Vegas...it's to eat at some of the restaurants that are not available in our own area.....when I go on vacation I don't try to save money....if I want to I would stay home...

You could look at the Sterling Brunch like this.......Yes it cost $85 per person but you get your own waiter standing right by and you get to try MANY MANY MANY different QUALITY food items you can't / don't make at home....it's like having a unlimited Tasting Menu from a top notch restaurant at MGM Grand....now you're SAVING a TON of money when you compare it that way.....those tasting menu's are twice that WITHOUT any wine included.....

The QUALITY of the Sterling Brunch is not like the average Vegas Buffet....it's just not....maybe someday you will have the opportunity to take advantage of it....we hope to in April.

 

I would agree. But then again i wouldnt spend a house payment on dinner either . Many do. But maybe at some point down the road, would consider it.

 

i for one am dying to eat at the sterling brunch. unfortunately I am not going
to be there on sunday and I am getting older. i use the buses and stay at the off strip casinos. Hopefully next trip.

 

I agree with all five choices EXCEPT for the Bellagio buffet. In my opinion, it has steadily gone downhill over the past few years. My last trip there was my last trip there!

Not sure what I'd put in its place, but it would be between Mandaly Bay, Planet Hollywood, Paris and The Mirage. Each of those has its own strengths and weaknesses.

The Rio should be somewhere on there. I am a M Resort fan, but the Rio is pretty damn good as well.

 

So Bachannal isn't included in the Buffet of Buffet pass?

 

The reason Bally's isn't listed is that it is a brunch, not an everyday buffet.
Compared other mainstream media rankings of Vegas buffets over the years, this is the most accurate list I've seen. Kudos to Kitty Yancey.
