New to this group, used to be on the other boards. Part of the "Lawrence Group", group that has been taking old coaches to Las Vegas for 30 years. Glad this board is so active. Staying at Aria Sept 29-Oct 2.

Good land......I had no idea all of us Central Texans were degenerate Vegas addicts!
We have to all plan a trip to LV now!

 

Maybe we should plan a "Texans take over Vegas" meet sometime? Hubby and I will be there Oct 12-16 and Dec 29-Jan 3. Then again for March Madness starting the Tuesday before the major games start (I hate those stupid "First Four" play-in games) thru the following Monday.

What about you?

 

Only one city is better than Vegas and that is Austin.


It helps that the nearest casino is like 5 hours away.

Damn it I read your title and now I'm stuck with Frank Zappa's song "the muffin man" in my head. grrrr Same ase yesterday. Nobody probably knows what I'm talking about but at the end of the album version he say's "good night Austin Texas wherever you are" Your title was all it needed to trigger it(again).

That's funny Dpin because a DJ here in town used that cut from Frank's album as one of his funny samples. I never knew it was from that album until he talked about it on an intro once.

Kelly I think that's a great idear! We miss you guys coming and going because I have so many HGS points I already set my wife (who does not go with me much) up to get there so she could spend those points the first week of December. Bellagio has an awesome slot tournament in March with great food and drinks that maybe we could all go to.
