IIRC check the elevators between Chin Chin and Gallagher's Steakhouse as that is what we used for the Park Ave room.

This past trip was the Madison and used the elevators by the BIG slot machine.

I THINK all towers have Park Avenue Rooms. They are a step up compared to most Standard or Deluxe rooms at say Harrahs, Flamingo etc. Just request a Higher room, close to the elevator and you'll be fine. The hallways in NYNY are kinda confusing.

The Park Avenue rooms are in at least a couple different towers. I have used the New Yorker elevators (by Gallagher's, Chin Chin) and the Century elevators (by America, Il Fornaio) and had a PA room in each one.

We've been staying at NYNY for a long time and I think Park Avenue rooms are available in atleast Century and New Yorker towers and those are definitely where you want to be. Those two towers are central within the hotel and ask for a room close to the elevators, if possible. Some of those rooms are a long walk. I'm not familiar with the other three towers - Chrysler, Empire and Staten Island. Here's a link to a property map

I hope you enjoy NYNY - it's one of my favourite spots. Have fun!

I seen your post and you look like the right person to ask.Our group will be staying at NYNY next month as well. While there we will be celebrating our 10 yr anniversary, and friends of ours their 20 yr. I have booked Park Ave Premium View rooms, thought about upgrading to Maddison Strip View rooms, or Spa Suites with no strip view. Should I upgrade before we go or take our chances with the "$20 trick" when we get there? Any thoughts or tips?

If staying in a Madison Avenue room is an important part of enjoying your trip, then I would not take a chance and just book the room you want. If you arrive on a Sunday-Wednesday than you probably have a good chance of the upgrade, but is it worth the risk to you?

It depends how important it is to get that room.
    Same thing with show tickets.
If it is someone you definitely want, order in advanced to ensure you get it.
Leaving things to chance.......well, that is what the casino is for.

Try Gallagher's for dinner before Zumanity. I did that in March. The dinner was better than the show.
