    My Trip Report

This was our luckiest trip ever and the majority of the wins happened during the first 12 hours of our Vegas trip on August 25th. It's on my blog (no ads) with lots of photos of the wins. There's also a lot of food photos from Tao, Cut, Red Square and Charlie Palmer.

I also have a trip report from July where I lost but had a blast for a week partying with friends at a bachelor and bachelorette party held at the Wynn Cabana's and a wedding at Caesar's Palace. Also lots of food photos from Casa di Amore, Tao, Foundation Room, China Poblano and others. That trip report is at this link if you are curious.

Last I went again to the Wynn Jazz Country Club Brunch during the July trip and had a report on it with lots of food photos here:

I believe this is how all trips should go. Nice multiple wins in the beginning (and throughout), awesome cool touristy photos, great food, dabbling in multiple casinos (and winning!)...yes, yes this is the Vegas dream.

Great report and photos as usual. I am vegetarian but love looking at (most of) the food and drink photos. I am going to have to check the menu at Cut, that souffle looks so good. Perhaps a veggie could get away with a starter and a chocolate souffle!

What a start to the trip with all those hand pays, especially the $20k hit. I checked the photos for a "dance and squeal" shot but could not find one. You must be the photographer in the family.

$20k and the other big wins must have resulted in a very healthy profit for this trip. Your coin-in must be huge so I'm going to ask the impertinent question - are you now in profit for the year or still playing catch-up?

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoyed the TR and photos!

Tubbs, you can go into the bar area of CUT before they close, after you have had dinner someplace else and order the soufflé there. My friend Terri and I have done that before when craving it.

I'm the photographer, DH sometimes remembers to take a photo with his cell but I guess this time he was too stunned to catch my little dance and squeal. ;)

This last trip put me temporarily ahead for the year, but since I had earlier losing trips, it's possible for my next trip to put me back in the red. Last year I had a 20k win too and some other nice wins, but ended up taking 3 more trips after that and giving it back. However thanks to the comps I had a lot of free vacations where I was treated very well. :) I don't expect as a slot player to make a profit from gambling and supplement our income via gambling, especially since if I did win more then I lost the taxes we would have to pay would likely again make us either breaking even or losing. The gambling is just another vacation to me and regardless of where I go Vegas, cruising, Europe, etc..at the end of the year it's going to have cost us some money for our entertainment. :)

Congrats on the big win! Very excited for you and hope I can get some of that luck in a few weeks. My next trip is the 27th - 30th so not sure if we overlap or not, but if so maybe we can catch up with a drink.

    Love it!!

Evoni, we love your trip reports and now follow you on twitter as well.
We are going back to Vegas in October and have already made a reservation at the Country Club for brunch at your suggestion. They should give you a commission!

klvegas, I arrive on the 30th at 2:50pm and I'm staying at Aria for that one night before moving to Wynn (just changed to Wynn from Palazzo). Would be happy to meet with you if you are still there or even briefly at the airport if you are leaving around the time I'm arriving. :)

JRAinDC, good luck and have fun on your October trip! I know you will be having some good food since you are going to the Jazz Brunch. When you return PM me and let me know how you liked it.

Are you staying at Bellagio this trip? Is there a tournament going on? :) If you aren't leaving until 10pm we should be able to get together. PM me if you want to firm up something before you leave, otherwise texting me that day is fine too. Hope to see you soon!
